I can see the argument. Guys like Lin and Beverley have something to prove because they were doubted so much. Howard and Harden have had more affirmation, but apparently OKC thought Ibaka was more valuable than him, and lots of people were doubting that Howard could ever be the player he once was. They've had something to prove to the doubters. I think Harden did it last year, and Howard is doing it this year. They're probably in a different boat than Lin and Beverley who will have to prove themselves every year of their careers, probably. But, as far as guys with chips on their shoulders, yeah Harden and Howard were once like that as Rockets.
Dwight wasent a reject and you could say harden was somewhat of a reject cuz okc def underestimated him. Really Morey is just a god the team is like mk not making the high school he sees these players and how underestimated they are such as lin, pat, parsons, asik.
The Thunder were negotiating a deal with the Wizards before the Rockets made the deal. Apparently the Wiz weren't willing to include Beal in the deal so it was nixed. Very fortunate for the Rockets how everything ended up.
Rejects is not the right word for all of them, but definitely a roster full of guys with something to prove. Harden to prove that he can carry a team deep into the playoffs and Howard to prove that he is still the NBA's best center and to overcome all of the media scrutiny over the last two years.
