Dwight Howard up for "Most Enthusiastic Athlete" Award

    Dwight Howard is up for a Kid's Choice Award as "Most Enthusiastic Athlete". He's going up against Cam Newton, David Ortiz and Richard Sherman. This may seem trivial to some, but after he fell short in the All-Star Game voting, this is actually important.

    First, Dwight absolutely deserves this. I've never seen Dwight down since he's been with the Rockets... he's always smiling, always joking and always lifting up his teammates -- from Omer to Donatas to Terrence -- with his comments. He is extremely personable with media and fans, but it's not just that -- this is genuine. He's like this with everyone, 24-7.

    Secondly, the Rockets have produced an excellent video in support of his candidacy, so clearly it’s important to them.

    The Laker fan nonsense may have given Dwight's image a hit, but the guy has been fantastic in Houston. Would love to see ClutchFans represent and help him out here.

    Dwight made the right choice. He should divorce his wife and marry Houston instead because he is so comfortable here. I don't understand all the hate he receives everywhere else but Houston. The guy is full of heart and so happy doing everything that he does on and off the court.
