Haha, are they seriously trying to troll for trade offers?

The Browns would trade for Schaub, they have a crap ton of cap space. And Kyle Shanahan is the new oc so it makes sense

Schaub could be the game manager QB we're looking for if O'Brien can reinject confidence in him. If you go defense in the draft with 1.1, 2.1 and 3.1 and grab Clowney, Ryan Shazier (ILB), and Craig Loston (S) in those rounds, Schaub becomes a better QB.

I like taking an overbalanced approach to this draft -- we need to create an advantage on this team. Without a stud QB in the draft, it makes sense to go defense. It hurts to not address the right side of the offensive line, but perhaps that can be done via free agency.

You don't have to worry. Manziel will not be a Texan unless they get him in the second.

Im starting to get really worried about Schaub returning as the QB for next season. Why are they waiting to designate him as a post June 1st cut?

Well there's not really a need to, plus if they fail to get the QB they want in the 2nd or 3rd round, they'd want a safety net.

Considering how desperate the Browns are for a QB who isn't basically a glorified grocery sacker, we should needle them for a late round pick or two for the bald bomber.

If you're the Browns and the Texans offered you Matt Schaub for a 5th rounder, how could you look your fans in the eye and say you're trying to get better if you turn them down?

I think Schaub is only appealing to the Browns if they can sign him for around 6 million per season after he's waived from Houston. Don't think anybody would be willing to trade anything for his 15 million per season contract.
