I still watch that game sometimes, I loved that team when they were on it was beautiful basketball, this year it's more grind it out games, but we win and that's what matters.

Probably a fishing buddy of Osbourne.
I use that line from time to time when someone is going on about themselves. After they're done talking I ask "But can you woo woo woo?"
I usually get strange looks.

Smith is not on a $1mm contract. Plus, guys his size need tailored suits which costs way more.

I asked the same question in the Orlando thread. John Buccigross is the espn anchor and he even had Stuart Scott singing it tonight lol. During the highlights, Buccigross said something like "Jeffrey Osbourne is to Jeffrey Osbourne...like what James Harden is to the Rockets" lol.

Hey, look. The NBA finally threw the Rockets a bone. And all it took was having the best record in 2014, beating the defending champs, beating the team with the best record in the NBA (when we beat them), and the team NBA.com has been featuring on their front page all year because they're the dark horse to win the championship this season.

I'm not going to let these last 3 games get to my head. The next 3 are @ OKC-Chicago-Miami. If we go 2/3 without any collapses/blow outs against us then I will let it get to my head.

Not that it means anything, but don't be surprised if you see the Rockets at #1 in many NBA writers' Power Rankings for this week.

I just hope the Rockets players don't get cocky because as much as we're winning, we're far from a finished product. In the Blazers' game alone, we were terrible on the glass and got no production from our real PFs. It took a career resurrecting game for Lin and a Super Saiyan Harden to steal that game. On top of that, the Heat and Pacers are in a significant slump so those wins should take that into account.

Don't know how to embed twitter but you guys should check out Lillard's twitter. He is seriously being salty.

Just got upset someone called him out on his defense.

    To quote:

    Richard ‏@Blazer_Duck 2h

For once I actually agree w/ @jwquick WTF is this world coming to? @Dame_Lillard needs to at least be semi-cognizant on the defense end.

    Damian Lillard ‏@Dame_Lillard 2h

@Blazer_Duck @jwquick what do you suggest?

@TragicBronson3 @jwquick very true... But who are you to question our effort ? It's apart of the game

I'm sure Greg has yet to find an accountant to help him minimize the 39.6% tax rate if he files single. Along with the 10% agent fee and he is making under 500k a year. Now, a nice custom made suit (because they don't sell size XXXXXXXXXXXXXL at Kohl's) is going to cost him around 7 to 9k. Should one have to spend more than 4% of what they make in a year on suits? Isn't that a bit excessive? What if he's just not that into suits?

I noticed this too. Bill Worrell exclaimed the Blazers are dominating the Rockets inside after they grabbed 4 offensive rebounds. I hope Asik can help with this once he gets back in regular season form. Dwight needs the rest too.

And there's no reason Dwight shouldn't drop 25 on Robin Lopez. I don't care how physical he plays him.

Parsons really needs to start hitting his 3 at a decent rate. He keeps shooting them on the way down.

It was an exciting game. The Rockets never seemed fazed by the score at any point. It seemed that every player did something on the floor in crunch time. It was not isolation ball, but rather each player had an opportunity to take an opposing defender 1 on 1 but that player had to make a quick decision to shoot or move the ball to the next guy. They are getting very good at that type of decision making There is always a bit of luck in winning games like these and the offensive foul called against Lillard was a bad call that Portland fans can rightly argue about. James Harden might be the most effortless scorer in the game (along with Melo). Lin was un-guardable. He made shots at the rim from the right/middle/left sides, mid-range shots from the right/left sides, and 3 pointers from the right/left sides.

Exactly, who gives a **** about his suit. He probably just puts the jacket on to sit on the bench because it's the NBA rules, and then he doesn't wear it anyplace else.

That inbound lob to LMA that Lin tipped was an awful, awful play by Batum and Terry Scotts if he drew that up out of a time out. Did he think they had .8 seconds instead of 8? Usually he's one of the best coaches at drawing up clever plays out of a time-out. It was definitely unexpected but he got too clever for his old good. I think Batum underestimated Lin's hops too.

He should stop the high arc shots, just keep to his normal shot, which seems to have been working fine
