It that Vipers mentality. I've seen a couple of clips where they get the steal, run to the three points line and chuck it up.
Random: Is there a sort of fan club for this JennyDialCreech lady? She's often referred to in the GARM. I don't live in Houston..is she cool? What's the deal? I know I was not a fan of Howard Chen (sp?) Anyway, if the Rockets are sending Troy down for one bad play, I can name quite a few guards on our team that should be joining him ASAP for turnovers and indecision in the lane. I'm hoping it just means Greg is ready to return and bulk up our frontcourt

I seriously doubt that it's for that one play. If Covington (averaging 26pts the past 10 games) isn't brought up for a shot, then either Greg is back, or they need room to sign another waived player/prospect. March 23? is the deadline for playoff eligibility.
I doubt they sent him down for jacking up a three with less than a minute to go and up by a billion. One guy speculates and everyone runs with it lol
lack of awareness? the rockets were up by like 30 with a minute left. He wanted to take a shot, who cares?
He was not sent down for that shot. If anything its because he isn't playing much and needs to stay in shape.
/thread. Why are so many people hating on what he did? He didn't cost us the game, he didn't injure someone, he didn't make our team look bad in any way. If the game was even remotely close, then what he did would have been intolerable. But I'm willing to bet that the coaches told him he had a green light, when he was subbed into the game, to jack it up.
lmao at the people calling it a horrible play up30+ with less than a minute to go. Chuck up whatever you want
Daniels is fine. Instead of making 50/60k a year in the D-League. He is making NBA minimum while playing in the D-League, which is like 500k/800k a year for on his two year deal. He is a Rockets player. He is not complaining right now.
anddddd there it is. Yeah I'm sure that's it. There's no need for him to sit on the bench instead of getting reps and minutes. And i don't exactly think they planned on playing him in the Pacers game. Even looking at mchales reaction i don't think he was mad. It was a zero risk shot, not a big deal.
Because bench players should use garbage time to make the right play to make the coaches feel like they deserve playing time outside of garbage time. He did the opposite.
Personally I'm not hating on him. It's just a classic d-league type of play, going for personal glory instead of the success of the team, and the idea he got sent back down for it has a classic "struggling to make it to the NBA" type of ring. (Though I agree that it's unlikely he actually sent down for it.) Like JVG, I think Daniels has a lot of potential. Will be seeing more of him soon and I'm looking forward to it.
It wasnt as bad a play as people are saying. Even if we weren't up 30, it's a wide open 3 from a very good 3 point shooter with 3 Rockets vs one Pacer there for the rebound.
