Since I can't watch the game...did Dirk choke? Did Christie's rituals with his wife help him to perform when it counted the most? Just wondering :D.

If Dallas were able to get a player like Ben Wallace, you could just say dynasty for the next 2-3 years.

Isn't it a refreshing breath of fresh air that this year, it will NOT be the Lakers taking the title? Hey, guys like Tim Duncan and Dirk Nowitzki do NOT need to shy away from comparisons (in terms of skills, not past achievements) with Shaq and Kobe.

Anyone willing to take a bet? I stick to my prediction that the Mavs will win it all.

Tim Duncan will play a great series, but it will not be enough to stop Dirk and the Mavs. Dirk will show TD who is the real MVP .

Dallas is soft in the frontcourt but they can shoot and penetrate easily.Tony Parker will have a tough time against Nash and Nick and it will be a little harder for him to score against them.
I still think San Antonio has a better chance but Dallas has the speed and depth to surprise them.

It depends on the X factor NVE to some degree. I haven't seen someone playing as fearless and relaxed at the same time as NVE did in playoffs for a long time. Keep it up NVE.

I put my bets on Dallas somehow, even though I hated Cuban. No matter how good San Antonio's defense is, they can't really stop Dallas from scoring in bunches. Mavs got twice as many good shooters as Spurs. It will be Mavs' series to lose if they can't shoot all of a sudden.

I hate Dallas Im just waiting for TD to tear his knee so the MAVS will complete the easiest road to a pro sports championship in the history of sports. First DA and Pippen than webber something will happen to the spurs Dallas is a team of good luck. Spurs in 5 if healthy if not Dallas in 7. It sucks that the Spurs will tie houston for rings but the rockets will double them up in no time. btw this is the NBA's worst nightmare for the NBA finals

    Dallas NJ
    Dallas Detroit
    SA NJ
    SA detroit

Goodness what casual nba fan will want to watch more than a game in that series. This proves that theyre no cospriarcies in the NBA. I guarantee the worst NBA finals ratings ever. SA and NJ will be the most competive imo
