Well check this out if the pistons win the Champinship this year they would at least look out for trades for their first round pic that is top five. We could trade them some one like Eddie to back up Ben, and we could pic up someone like

Chris Bosh 6-11 210 PF Georgia Tech Fr.

Chris Kaman 7-0 255 C/PF Central Michigan Jr.

    Darko Milicic 7-0 245 PF (Serbia-Montenegro) 1985

Mike Sweetney 6-8 260 PF Georgetown Jr.

or if we need a PG we could get

TJ Ford 5-11 165 PG Texas So.

Luke Ridnour 6-2 175 PG Oregon Jr.

    Leandrinho Barbosa 6-4 190 PG (Brazil) 1982

Kirk Hinrich 6-3 190 PG Kansas Sr.

    GO PISTONS!!!!!!

How about they use it to draft a big guy to compliment Big Ben.

pistons already got a rookie big-man in mehmet okur (who has been playing well). they also got zeljko rebraca on the bench, another center, assuming doctors let him play next year (irregular heart beat). and cliff robinson plays some center too. these are all ben wallace backups.

i don't see them trading players or picks anytime soon. they got enough players wanting pt on their bench (jon barry, corliss williamson, rebraca, mehmet okur, tayshaun prince, chucky atkins) and i don't see them trading a top 5 pick for another role player who will want pt. and rick carlisle is know to bench rookies for a season, look at rodney white. so i wouldn't hold my breath in anticipation of a trade...

Personally, I think they'll trade the pick once the Nets embarrass them and show them how in need of firepower they are.

However, we have NOTHING they'd want. Maybe Glen Rice (off the bench, experience, scoring, expiring contract) or if they move Ben Wallace to C, MoT is the #1 compliment to Ben Wallace in the entire league, don't you think?

Maybe they'd want to sign and trade with Posey?

Anyways, I kinda forgot that we don't want to get any younger and are actually looking for veterans.

dont the pistons need a SF because if they do we got plenty
    Posey, Morris, Rice, Nachbar

or we could just trade it for our next year first round pic and thrown in our second from this year.

The Pistons don't need a crappy small forward.

Tayshaun Prince seems poised to take over SF next year and he's a sensational defender with a versatile offensive game.

Okur has shown real promise at Center too. Needs to work on a couple things, but he bangs, has range and can rebound.

If they get the 2nd or 3rd pick it is unlikely they trade it. If they get the 6th (or 7th), then it's possible.

I wouldn't count on the Nets embarrassing them either. They may lose to the Nets, but they'll fight them all the way.

At 210 pounds, he needs another 40 pounds to compete at PF. He would get pushed around like a reed in a hurricane. Does he have the frame to fill out? -- uh, he looks like that skinny legged guy on the Kings, the one that didn't play much because the Mavs pushed him around so badly.

Then place him at SF look at Tayshawn he was a PF in college and became a good SF in the pros.
