looking to kill some time until titanfall comes out. always thought DayZ looked like it could possibly be fun. Anyone here played it ? installing it now.
Standalone or mod? I've played the standalone and I give it a "meh". Couldn't really find much when I played it so it was boring as hell. However, I play the Arma 2 mod here and there, mostly on the Overwatch mod which is basically a free-for-all PVP with lots of guns and loot.
I'm thinking about getting this game but i wish a demo was available on steam. For those of you who have played it is it worth $30?
Personally, no. I barely play it compared to the mod for Arma 2. Still buggy, and is worse than the mod in the performance category. Also, for some reason, I get terrible motion sickness even with FOV adjustments which makes the game unplayable for me after 30 minutes. It's an early access game so it's basically an alpha release and not really worth 30 dollars.
i bought it around a year ago... played maybe 5 hours. found it boring and regret wasting money on it.

I don't know wtf to do in this game. I've been playing for 4 hours and and I still don't how to eat or pretty much do anything. I keep dying. I look online and they are like eat apples. There ain't a damn apple to save my life.
