I guess the point is we are SEEING IT right now and recognize and appreciate what the man is about now. i think we all have to appreciate just how fast this team is bonding and coming together. When Rockets teams blast off it's best to appreciate it while you can as the NBA can be a tricky place. I NEVER thought I could even imagine this year's team could point to the finals in conference or beyond. I really can now. I see Asik is getting into shape better every game, this is a very big deal. I would argue you don't actually understand what you are seeing on the defensive end. No shame there, lots of casual fans don't. There is a reason why most of your better NBA commentators rave about Pat's defensive intensity and ability.....and it ain't just to make Lin look bad.
