George will lock harden down. Spoiler Spoiler Says no one ever. Harden will b**** slap the pacers on friday.
Paul George was slightly better in the beginning of the year, but Harden is better by a landslide right now. PG playing like poop.
Getting to the conference finals is pretty easy in the East, even last year. Getting into the playoffs in the West is probably a harder feat than getting to the ECF, most years. That looks to be the case this year as well, seeing everyone was and is still predicting an Indiana - Heat rematch while 4-5 teams are and will fight for the last few seeds in the West till the last days of the season. The Indiana - Heat match up was very good and George did play well but he wasn't the most important player for the Pacers. Hibbert and especially West were the players keeping the Pacers in games and scoring when the absolutely had too. George played his role amazingly. He defended LeBron as good as anyone and hit some timely shots but to say he was the main reason Indiana made the series the way it was is pushing it.
George's drop in offense's pretty insane FG% by month 49% (2 games) 47% 47% 41% 40% 39% (3 games, excluding this past game) It's as if he just fell off a cliff in his efficiency after December.
Someone should find my posts about how we should judge these guys based on a full seasons of play (including playoffs) and not a few months. Pretty sure I continued to stress that...Harden came into the season as the better recognized player and I'm guessing it'll be that way for this season too..
I agree, most of the people that gave PG the honors were just looking at a shiny new toy. They judged him too quick.
I am pretty sure people were judging George from last year's Playoffs into the new season. That's when George broke out after winning the MIP.
I'm surprised there are still some here that are juggling his nuts to the point they have to attack Harden. I have been Harden's biggest critic but he has been on an insane roll lately. No rockets fan would try and discredit that or hope for him to do bad.
