So why is he playing then? He should tell the trainers and sit out until he's healthy and confident. His play the past month helps no one.
It is what is. The guy was a terrible signing from the jump. He's shown zero consistency. He'll likely be a Rocket after his contract is up, unless somebody's dumb enough to literally make the same mistake we did. He belongs on a bottom feeder though. On a good team, he's best left with only playing garbage minutes.
Yea that was the play where I lost it. You started with him for an ENTIRE season for Christ's sake. You should know better than that. He's not howard to where you can throw it up anywhere.
Lin play so bad that I wouldn't be surprised if they favor Aaron Brooks off the bench (assuming Aaron Brooks is still with the team). Dude is like ****ing laying an egg out there every time he step on the court...what the hell is wrong with him...really. No confident. It's like he forgot how to play ball. There are times he's wide open to the hoop and instead of doing a layup...he chose to pass the ball...****ing stupid.
He'll bounce back just in time for the playoffs.... When he's playing well, he adds much needed playmaking ability to the 2nd unit.... He needs to play within his strengths... Get this crap outta his system now ... Unfortunately , we need him to play well ..
Lin doesn't know when to sit himself. It's up to the coach to realize it's time, until he's 100% physically and mentally. And maybe give him testosterone shots before he plays again. No tofu or anything with estrogen mimickers in his diet, please.
He's been inconsistent from the day we signed him, but I've already accepted that he can't live up to that contract, so I've been judging him as a backup PG, and by that standard he's been good...until this 8 game stretch. He has been such a catastrophe, it's hard to even defend playing him. Now given his salary, they aren't gonna bench him entirely righ now, but we really need to start playing one of the Vipers, because this Lin situation has gotten dire.
I had a feeling tonight would be the night for Jeremy to break out of his slump. Coming off a big win against the Heat I expected the starters to be sluggish and for the bench to come up big. I couldn't have been more wrong. If this were baseball they would send him down to the minors for a few weeks to get his confidence back. As much as I hate to admit it Jeremy may be broken.
There you go. Its about making this board a much more civil place to be in. I get that its a fan forum, but wading through posts that are largely negative doesn't make for fun reading to be honest. (though i expect the only reply will be the gtfo if i'm not happy) I say the above to both sides of the spectrum, and the vitriol is also coming from posters that talk.whine.winge about the endless LOH and LOF bickering and the dumbing down of post quality. Do i have to qualify myself as a non-LOF/someone lurking since99/not a juvenile to get a point across? I'm talking about civility on the forum. Not just about a slumping player.
AB would have played MUCH better. The mere fact he can play conservative and bring the ball up is an improvement. The fact that he can shoot the 3 so well makes him that much of an improvement.
so weird that he has completely fallen apart since the all-star break. It is like night and day. who knows what the reason is, but he is no good to anyone right now. But he is not a "joke". I find it highly doubtful that NBA scouts all just studied up on him during the break and found some secret formula that turns him into crap. He's been around for quite a while. The slump is entirely on him. Give him his 15 minutes a game and a chance to break out of it. But if he is still sucking as the season goes on, then DNPs are fully warranted.
