What the hell is that? According to NBA.com, he played 8 minutes. This is after two straight spectacular performances. The guy should never play less than 30 minutes. Unbelievable.

Hakeem is rumoured to be on a homeopathic all natural herbs and berries asthma treatment. Sometimes he takes them during games.

Hakeem was having a TERRIBLE game out there. His rebounding was way off as was his shot. Honestly, he wasn't needed. Just an off night.

Also, the Warriors' transition defense was pure crap. No way Hakeem could've gotten up and down the floor with the team like Kenny and Mo which is why they got the bulk of the minutes.

    Mmmmmmm. Sacrelicious.

Even so, 8 minutes??? I don't care how bad a game he was having. There is no excuse for only being allowed to play 8 minutes.

    ZRB,

Hakeem ended up playing 17 minutes.

    Jeff,

Did "Ilovefrancis" or someone steal you password?

    Hakeem's TERRIBLE stats:

    FG% - .500 (3 for 6)
    REB - SIX
    BLK - 1

He did have an unusually high number of TOs (5), but he was by no means having a TERRIBLE game.

What did KT do in our transition offense? He did nothing on the break. He did however brick a few lay ups and a three-pointer. (In the fourth alone)

In the 4th quarter, (when Hakeem logged 12 minutes.... ON THE BENCH), is when the Warriors came back from 13 down to tie the game.

Had Hakeem played even HALF the dang quarter, we wouldn't have needed Moochie's miracle shot to win.

In the first three quarters, the Warriors were not coming inside, due in part to Hakeem's presence. In the fourth, Golden State was able to put in lay up after lay up on our small line up.

Maybe Rudy figured it was a good time for this team to learn to win in the fourth quarter without Hakeem.

ZRB - never trust the box scores online until a while after the game. They are notorious for getting the minutes wrong. (e.g. I have seen players log over 30 minutes in the FIRST HALF).

Many times this season the Rockets have been successful without Hakeem in the game the 4th quarter. As a matter of fact that was only the 2nd or 3rd 4th quarter the Rockets have lost all year (they have tied 2).
