I think Mo Taylor was signed after Cato -- but, otherwise, yeah, I'm with you. And, to think, for the price of a player option on the fourth year (and almost a million less per year) the Rockets could of had Dragic. That was a bad decision on Morey. I love what Morey has done, but that was a poor poor decision, and the folks on Clutchfans who roasted him at that time were 100% right.
I think he meant it in the flippant Chris Rock way of, "there are black people, and then there are [n-word]". But that is being unfair to Lin, because were he 7'6" he'd be absolutely unstoppable. Height is unfair in basketball.
Jesus people.... The contract has ONE year left on it, and Lin makes a little over an average NBA player. He is a good person and not terrible.
Btw, that's just a pet peeve I have. Basketball isn't a suitable model sport because 7 foot freaks in real life somehow become celebs. It's not like in say, baseball, where people of normal height have a chance. The NBA excludes most of the adult male distribution due to height alone. Or rather restricts them to PG. This is said as a relatively tall guy here at 6'3", although even for me, the front court positions are off limits, period.
Bev is playing out of his mind and his shooting is really becoming a threat. If this is the who Beverley really is, then I have no problem with him playing the minutes he is. I really hope Lin gets out of his funk. He has played well enough in the recent past and has enough of a sample size that give me hope he'll come back. With the way everybody is playing, it may be difficult for him to find the minutes to get his rhythm and confidence back. Here's hoping.
Big problem here. This isn't a slump, this is something else. A slump is playing well, but just missing shots. Not only is Jeremy not hitting shots, he playing bad defense and just making terrible decisions with the ball. He looks like a broken person right now. At this point, I am trying to find a reason why he should be on the court at all. He is nothing but a liability right now.
It just doesn't make sense that Lin would play so well early on and play so poorly recently. If he is broken, then the Rockets need to fix him. IMO the Rockets absolutely need Lin to play well for them to take on Elite teams in the playoffs. I know that we're playing the Heat well today, but I can't imagine us beating OKC, Indiana, and MIA without Lin playing well. If Bev can sustain his amazing hot streak, then Lin is expendable. I still think the Rockets need to play him out of his funk.
Actually I'm sure that Lin taught harden a thing or two on that last pass at the end. It was very Lin like. Glad Howard wasn't having any of that **** and elbowed Lebron in the face (accidentally)
