I didn't know much about Mack but the more I read the more I'm intrigued. For as much credit acknowledgement as clowney gets for his athleticism Mack seems to be right there with him but with a greater skillset. It would be a pretty ballsy more to draft him #1 over Clowney though.
Mack is far and away the best passrusher of this draft. He's basically Von Miller... Edge rusher with blazing speed and crazy flexibility to bend around the edge. If the texans are foolish enough to pass on Bridgewater, it should be Mack 1.1

Intrigued about Mack as well. Clowney may have more potential but I'll take a work ethic and still high level of talent over that any day. Ideally would still like to trade back, of course.
The more I see Jedeveon Clowney highlights, they more I think "how is this even a question? Draft that dude!" and then I remember our current starting QB is probably Case Keenum and I go back to being conflicted.

Seriously? Now they're pushing Khalil Mack as a #1 overall candidate? This flavor of the week NFL Draft stuff is fun. Who will it be next week?
Meh, it''ll likely still be Teddy when it's all said and done. Clowney is the only other real alternative.
Mack > Clowney It's not even close. Mack is stronger, quicker, and most importantly more flexible (can bend hips). Oh yea, he has great work ethic and loves football.
I would be ok with Mack(bc he is a terrific young talent)...but would really like to see Clowney in a Texans uniform..
It's like this every year, guys are built up in Sept and then they get torn down in Feb, and then they get built back up again in April. Drama! Excitement! Page hits! Twitter subscribers! Ratings!
Absolutely. It's worse than a Presidential primary. Teddy is an afterthought right now. Wonder if that changes after his pro day.
The "Mack > Clowney It's not even close." part. If you want to argue he's the better prospect, okay. But not even close is hardly being realistic.
As long as they are only talking about when dropping into coverage, saying Mack>Clowney and it's not even close is fine. If they think Mack is anywhere near as disruptive a player that Clowney is though.....well then no one should really worry about their opinion.
