Morey looked at the free agents available and responded thusly: <img src="http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m8kpk42WmG1rwl09fo1_500.gif">
This will push PJ3 completely out of the rotation. If this is anything like Derek Fisher, Bonehead will give Caron Butler lot's of playing time whether it's good for the team or not. Not sure how much Tough Juice has left in the tank. If he does, this could help them a lot.
That's very unfortunate, because I really like PJ3. He had a good game last night. Plays good D and hits the occasional 3.

LOL Hamilton rocks your world. I thought you said Hamilton was going to end up being nothing for us. You and other fans try hard sometimes. Quit trying so hard and let the man do his job.
Danny Granger and Caron Butler were two guys who were always reported to be on Morey's wish list back in the Yao-TMac era. Funny how they were both finally available for cheap, and Morey decided to pass on both.
They're not the same players they once were. Morey loves 3 and D guys, but they're getting old and injured. Morey avoids these players. How is having either of them on the court over Parsons (taking away his minutes) any better? The 8-10 minutes we have extra per night should go to Hamilton. He is a role player happy to play an role. We need young, fresh legs to attack next to Lin/Beverley. An old guy like Butler or Granger jacking up shots in limited minutes to get their next payday is not what we need.
He's finally showing a pulse. Early in the season he was a complete yo yo who would hit the occasional 3 or disappear during games. But I think he's turned a corner. Last month I noticed he got comfortable enough to take guys off the dribble and show some aggression with creating his own shot. But knowing Bonehead, PJ3 is done for the season except for garbage time in blowouts.
Just wondering, is Rox on some record for youngest squad to win the title? Maybe this is the reason why Morey skips all the Vets and get in Canaan, Daniels and Hamilton.
Tell me do you think fat Davis is better than our PF rotation? We have guys clamoring for minutes and you guys want to bring in overpaid players who are looking to get paid again. Granger and Butler are on the last year of their contract. They want to sign with a team that will give them minutes. We don't need these old, injured players to come in and complain about playing time. In order to sign them you HAVE to promise them minutes. That means no minutes for Hamilton and less minutes for Parsons. Otherwise they will sulk and complain and bring down team morale. CF doesn't understand these things, but a smart GM does.
All they will do is be inured and jack up shots in the minutes we give them. They're not trying to win. They want another contract. Why do you think we stopped playing Garcia?
Exactly. Morey WANTED them before. I don't understand why everyone wants them NOW. Thank you for the very insightful post btw.
Neither Butler (age 33) nor Granger (age 30) are looking for their next payday. Both are coachable, team-first guys. The've also both been paid handsomely and want a ride to a championship to complete their careers. It's not about "jacking up shots in limited minutes to get their next payday". Both are washed up and over the hill. If Granger goes to LA and jacks up dumb shots, Doc will put a coffin on the bench bury him in it. Clippers have a shot at the Finals.
