HA!!!! Like saying you can go 1 round with Tyson... Easier said than done... I've seen guys who thought they were bad a$$ and then get embarrassed at Fonde playing with the big boys.... T_Man
Sure that's feasible, but it becomes harder if you want your team to increase the lead and not have your team get blown out of the water. A player of your skill level would effectively make the team play a man down. They wouldn't respect you offensively and attack you defensively. Even with Lin's poor level of play yesterday, he was still a +2. You would be lucky to have a -10 after 19 minutes of play.
Actually, it's more like they'll guard you hard so you won't embarrass them. The gulf between NBA player and normal b-ball player is huge. I played HS basketball for a long time, then played intramural ball. Making an unguarded 3 or 2 was not a problem for me. Then I played a ex-D Leaguer and got owned big time. Could be because I just suck, but I think that's only partially the truth
Is it legal to give Lin testosterone injections? I want to see him with DMC's levels. Just as a 10 game experiment.
It works both ways. I think you guys think racism is an overt thing whereby people are open in their hate and distrust of a race. Its more subtle than that. We all form preconceptions and judgments based on race. If you see a Chinese you usually think he is hardworking, a Jew he must be rich, an African American he must be athletic. My point is, the dislike towards Jeremy and perception that he is not an NBA player has more subtle racial overtones than you might think. Some of it is justified, but to the point he doesn't belong in the NBA? We each have biases and preconceptions. Its what makes us human. And to the guy who negative repped me, why so sensitive? Do you truly think how we view other people and judge people are not based on race at all? I'm not saying all LOHs are racist but his race definitely plays a part in the hate.
Some anonymous guy who imagines that surely over the course of 19 minutes in an NBA game he'd be left open for a 3.
What does taking a punch to the face by one of the best have to do with making a basket in the NBA? Nothing special. Hope you can afford it. I drive a 2014 SLK. You as well as others are looking way too much into it. All I am saying is it isn't impossible for someone to make a basket in the NBA. Saw that article a while ago. It was quite funny to be honest. And again, I am not saying I could play in the NBA. I know for a fact I would get owned. All I am saying is it is feasible to make a basket in a game. Whether it be luck or not. It isn't IMPOSSIBLE.
Just shut up about yourself making a shot in the NBA. You're not making anything with an NBA player draped over you unless you're already near elite.
http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nba-ball-dont-lie/brian-scalabrine-dominated-competition-boston-one-one-challenge-231654445--nba.html These people make Scal look like he has Westbrooks first step.
Richard Lewis? When did he play for the rockets. We have overpaid many players. Matt Maloney. Kelvin Cato . Moochie Norris . Ok. Now i give a few minutes to google them
Lol you should sign up and challenge Scalabrine first. Scalabrine looked like Lebron playing against players from NCAA. People just don't realize how hard it is to play in the NBA.
Could somebody from the NBA school a bunch of HS kids or an average joe? Sure. But they can score on him in the span of 19 min. in a 5-on-5 game? Likewise. That was your original bet right? Whether or not he could score on the floor? Definitely, assuming he's fit. It's not that hard to find an average joe in America tall enough to play guard in the NBA.
I would pay to see this. The whole original premise was replace Lin with this smack talking average Joe in the game last night, or any similar game and see if he can score in 19min guarded by whoever would have guarded Lin. You guys are insane if you think this dude would even be able to hold the ball. insane.
