Didn't Bev miss games for abdominal tear/strain? Can't be good to be punched where you were injured.

The reffing makes flopping a necessary element. How else will the refs see this? I know I didn't see it when it happened.

I definitely did not see that. First thing on my mind when it happened was that he hit him outside in the street or something. He has himself to blame if refs start being more biased against him.

So the NBA 'police' actually watches all the games.

How come they don't catch more flopping?

Not that it makes it any better or worse but this happened in the first couple minutes of the game. I mean how heated can a player get in a game in just a couple minutes of play. Just goes to show he does things like this not just when he's being a hot head. He's just always full on stupid.

Wow. So Cousins was in @$$hole mode from the tipoff. That happened early in the game.

Didn't some say we should try to get this douche?!?!?

Do Not Want. Thanks and goodbye.

Missed this in the game, but then it was pretty quick. Bev clearly complained to the ref, which I should have noticed as he doesn't complain about a lot that goes on in the paint.

Yeah but then you still have to be a special kind of stupid to think doing something like that is ok after days/weeks in between games to cool off and think about it.

You mean that play where Cousins got blocked by Beverely while twisting his ankle? Bev had nothing to do with that injury, didn't even touch him.

Could be that Bev brought it to the FO's attention and Morey wrote the league about it. I think I remember reading that GM's will often bring it to the league's attention when they think refs messed up, so it'd make sense that they'd do it here. Pretty hard to catch otherwise. We were all watching the game and didn't even catch it.

Rockets probably sent that to the league office.

I doubt he did. Didn't turn his head or made any gesture suggesting he noticed. Still, glad the league is doing something about it. He really should be suspended for more when you consider how he acted throughout that game.

Wow this league is so soft. 1 game? Are they trolling the fans?

After being under the iron thumb of David Stern, anything and everything that Adam Silver does will be too lenient.

I just dont think Cousins will ever get it. It's a shame, not even Shaq can make him change. The exchange with the ref made no sense at all.

It's not like he hit him in the face. He gave him a little shot to the stomach.

    1 game is about right.
