The Bulls had a better team than any of ours that had Luther in it. Who did we have in the 07 play-offs? All the talent was concentrated in Yao and T-Mac. Shane + Rafer + Hayes as starters? Then it was Juwanaman and Deke and Luther. Can't remember if we had Novak by that time.
Sorry, dummy question. How do buyouts work? Can they happen at any point in a players contract? I guess what I'm getting at is would it be possible to buyout Lin/Asik contracts or does the pill prevent that somehow?
Why aren't the Rockets more interested in Jimmer over Gordon? At this point, Jimmer is the better player. Never mind age and production, chemistry wise, Jimmer is the better fit. Granger is still my favorite pick up, but would not complain if it is Jimmer.

+1, any of these guys can put up double digits, but Granger's presence is redefining. Plus, I wanna see what Troy can do first.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Rockets are promising him minutes to get him to sign & Lin will be moved out of the rotation for a trial period.
Yes on Ben Gordon IMO and I would probably give him that whole room exception. We need a back up 1/2 like him. Hopefully he has something left in the tank. I do believe that Lin may need to leave the rotation. He looks really shaky out there the last few games.
Trust me has nothing left, he had a bunch of minutes in Charlottes last game, he wasnt very impressive, all he can really do that is a plus on the court is drive and pass, but its really nothing spectacular. He really plays with no motivation, and its been like that since he got that big payday.

http://insider.espn.go.com/blog/nba/rumors/ No market for Ben Gordon? February, 28, 2014 Feb 28 7:36 AM ET By Nick Borges | ESPN.com Ben Gordon has been listed as a potential buyout candidate, but as of early Friday morning he remains part of the Charlotte Bobcats roster. Both sides have Friday and Saturday to get something done prior to the deadline. From Ramona Shelburne of ESPNLosAngeles.com: "Gordon continues to talk buyout with Charlotte but is said to resist any new deal that impacts his looming free agency in July. Teams such as Bulls, Clippers and Rockets are said to be pitching Gordon on two-year deal with team option in Year 2." The Clippers and Bulls are likely no longer considering Gordon since LA is going to add Danny Granger and Jimmer Fredette is expected to sign the Chicago. That leaves Houston, if the Shelburne report is accurate, and they might pass as they already have a full 15-man roster. Gordon's agent is likely checking around the NBA to playoff teams to find out if they will offer a contract. If the answer is no, Raymond Brothers will probably advise his client to just stay with the Bobcats so he can collect all of the remaining $13.2 million salary.
