After the first 3 minutes???? I was thinking he should have started the second half with at least Jones on the bench for DMo. I thought the first half was enough. He should have came out of the locker room with either DMo at the 4 or with the smalls in the backcourt and Harden at the 4. As for Parsons, I wasn't aware he was sick. Was watching the ESPN guys and had the volume down. But if I had known he was sick then obviously you come out with Hamilton.
These matchups with the Clips have been going on for a while now. THis is like the 3rd time we've played them this year...plus last year's games. I seen enough already before the first game this season to know that Jones was going to get crushed against them. It shouldn't take this long to make adjustments.
Usually, you don't make big adjustments like that in the regular season, just play your regular guys and win or lose. In the playoffs, I agree, TJones shouldn't be playing in a series against the Clippers. I would prefer a Bev, Lin, Harden, Asik, Dwight starting five against the clippers. Parsons does not have a good matchup on the Clippers, and they don't fall for his pump fakes and he can't get to the rim against Jordan and Blake.
Hardens D has been fine this year. The problem with this team is TOs and coaching. Why Jones and Lin continued to play lastnight idk. We barely lost to the Clipps lastnight playing some of our worst ball. Knee jerk thread
The problem is he's not agility and quick enough but defend 2 should be fine if he put even energy on defense end.
"Bullying", "first step", and "size" hardly describe the way he weaves through traffic. http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/James-Harden-1241/ High basketball IQ is said in just about every article written about him. Saying it's due to bulking up and ramming through takes a bit away from what he's been developing since high school, and when he was skinny. DD
It is remarkable what one game versus Reddick can do to ClutchFans everlasting opinion. That opinion is brought down to a mouth frothing rabid misinterpretation of the situation and the stats. Is this a Forest Gump moment?
SF and SG are interchangeable. They are called "wings." Harden is a wing who can play point. But he is not big enough to play the 4, at least not full-time. He is just like many of the wing players who can handle the ball and create. It doesn't matter whether you call him a SF or a SG.
Dang, DD. Old age is making it impossible for you to keep track of all your alter egos? Maybe you should consolidate while you still can.
I agree with this comment. James Harden is too small for the 3 spot tho AND DEF too small for the 4. I know you didnt say that, just piggybacking off this comment
