None of that matters unless Minnesota starts losing some games...then we are in the playoff picture.

Actually Wiz, having the Mavs lose DOES matter cuz either they or the Wolves must start losing for us to be in the Playoff picture. Even the Spurs are not that far

But the previous night (12th) Mavs, Nuggets and T'Wolves lost. It has been a good two nights.

Sonics have climbed back to .500 and will continue to improve....I tihnk we won't make it unless we improve, if we stay this way, we'll miss the playoffs, we'll be 9th..

I really think it comes down to us and Minne...The wolves have shown a little bit of inconsistentcy(SP?), it will be a nice race. Of course if Nelly is out for awhile who knows, Mavs could start to lose a lot. My big dream is that the Rockets sneak into the 8th spot and Utah has the 1st spot, =)...I think we have possibility of taking them. "Be careful what you wish for?" the possibility to upset arch rivals is too good not to wish for it.

Have to get there first, big thing is if we do get to playoffs, it in itself would help us gain so much experience. Also, might be able to sign a FA or 2 also.

I really think it comes down to whoever has the 8 best records in the West at the end of 82 games. A win tonight ties us for 7th with Minnesota and pushes Dallas out of the playoffs. 1/2 game behind San Antonio for #6 and 1 game behind the Lakers for #5.

It's a long season with plenty of injuries, shooting slumps, arrests, etc. for every team. The Rockets have already seen their share of injuries and are still in the playoff hunt.

I still think the Rockets have hoed a tougher row so far this season than some of the other teams in the hunt, like Seattle, Dallas, and Minnesota.

I agree with sane. As the season goes on the sonics will get tougher and tougher. Nate is doing a great job pulling that team together.

Of course, Polynice likes to play cops and robbers out in Utah. That's the most ridiculous story I've heard. Something tells me these guys aren't taking their academics seriously in college.

I also agree with TB Cain. The Rockets will have to continue to improve to make the playoffs. We can't count on a coach going down or on some other teams to lose.

We should be getting better with the addition of cato and collier, but the way hakeem's playing im not so sure about that.
