We need to go TT against the Clips. Only way to get stops and run-outs.

The same opinion here. But I am not going to be optimistic that he will do better. His minutes has been reduced significantly lately and Mchale has been riding his starting backcourts for very long minutes. Something is wrong.

check out ESPN quick. I like the video/pic. We are a Happy Team. Even if we loose, as long as the Team is playing Joy and with grit. I am fine with that :). Of course Happy Winners is best, Happy Loosers is also OK - knowing that we are 39/19. Woot!

Our superstars are supposed to be the most deadly PnR pair in the NBA.

It's a viable reason be.....don't necessarily call it an excuse.

I think CF just wants blood at this point.

I was merely pointing out the fact that he had great performances not very long ago. And also the fact that he is overly paid if he is just going to play 18 minutes per game. I am not saying that he should play more. Do you acknowledge the first two facts or not?

Now do you think Bev is a above average Starting PG? Do you think we are going to pay Lin more than 8 m per year to be a bench player? Do you think that we want to make a run for the at least WCF? OK, so tell me why are we not going to get another PG?

Even a 2-game losing streak. The good news is the next game is against the Pistons at home. The bad news is there's a 2-game homestand coming up with Indiana and Portland followed by a 3-game roadie against OKC, Chicago, and Miami. That will have huge implications on where the Rockets finish in the standings.

I do not know what will happen if his minutes get doubled. And I totally agree with what you are saying except the last sentence. He is not going to put up great performance without a good chemistry and a great deal of off-ball movements of his teammates. Just watch how his teammates are standing and watching like he is harden. This is his weakness exposed by how we play.

Loss doesn't hurt that much. The game was basically even except we turned the ball over too many times. Second night of a back to back for the Rockets, so I'm surprised it wasn't an easier win for the Clippers. The game gave McHale an opportunity to experiment with player combinations that might be used during playoffs. Sub par games by many of our players and we were still in the game, so I'm not really disappointed in the loss. I wonder if Canaan might get a shot before the end of the season?

3-2 on the road trip is not too bad.

Not troubled at all with the loss.

VERY MUCH concerned with TJones. Perhaps it is high time to give Dmo a try at starting at PF. The starters cannot keep on carrying the carcass that Jones has become. Two benefits: rewards DMO for his hard work and serve as a wake up call to Jones that you have to keep on producing. The status quo cannot continue at the 4.

And the status quo is changing. Not as fast as many on CF would like, but D-Mo is gradually increasing his minutes. It may be that McHale is trying to work D-Mo into game shape to play 30 minutes a night if needed. It does take a while for a 7 foot 260 pound man to get into that kind of game shape, especially in back to backs.

This is why I listed it first. He seems not as fast and can't jump as high as before.

That would be a smart decision, match up wise. It was painful, seeing JH guarding Collison. Lin may be in a little slum offensively. But he is a better defender guarding quick guys like Collison. This is why I said McHale was out coached and simply did not trust Lin. If I were him, I'd have gone with Lin, instead of CP, even if Lin can't do nothing in offense.

I completely agree that this game was winnable if it was coached well. This game revealed the weakness in our coaching. The team could've won.

We've seen TJones have some really good games, and we've seen him have bad games. I think inconsistent performance should be expected from both TJones and DMo. Both players will split the PF minutes, I don't really care who starts. DMo played more minutes last night and if he continues to outplay TJones then I expect DMo will get more minutes.

The PF spot is a concern, but I'm sure Morey will probably some changes before the start of next season. I'm still pretty pleased with the progress that both TJones and DMo have made this year.

There were three straight possessions early in 4th q where DMo took and missed shots -- maddening.

Starting unit (withiut tjones) played the last 7 minutes of game with DMo, then Ask, then Jordan Hamilton ( about 2 minutes per player) There were even more substitutions made by Clips in the same time. Adjustments being made?
