All I know is they won at the Clippers and Blazers before they got smoked by the Suns. So the Spurs at least lately are more than capable of beating above .500 teams, including on the road.

Usually, I'm one of those folks who just lurks in game threads or avoids em.

But tonight, I just couldn't take it anymore. I've held my tongue on Lin all season hoping he would find his way.

But I'm now convinced that's a pipe dream and had to vent here. Sorry if that made your effort to find sensible/logical posts a little more difficult.

    You sir made a 100.

The Clips got in his head tonight - started playing like a kid vs the all-star he is.

a positive - JHam looked solid (reminds me of Mario Ellie is some ways)

He's just upset and I am an easy target. Some fans can't be rational.

That is expecting Blake Griffin is an all-star while this is Terrence Jones first year starting.

What isn't expected is our big money man to play like Harden did tonight.

This is one thing I'm kind've tired of hearing. Lin may have not been why we lost the game, obviously, but people defending him keep saying things along the line of "you expect him to win the game?" etc single-handedly blah blah etc.

NO ONE (besides LOFs) thinks Lin can do that or should, people just want him to contribute. Whether Lin gets 18min or 30 min, whatever it is lately... he just doesn't impress. I can't even pinpoint it, it just seems like he occasionally makes a 3 and a layup, gets a couple of assists, but usually dribbles in and traps himself or does jump passes and doesn't seem to command/control the court. Starting or not, Lin should come in and make a difference. It may not be a "wow" factor every time, but we've all come to expect him to come out and be more productive than he has been in the last 2-3 weeks.

I like Lin, but lately his aggression just isnt there.

I will never rate him higher than average until we play PnR. Come on! Harden and Howard and we are not playing PnR???? You must be kidding me!

but a lot of fans here are not homers. it seems like most fans of other teams who post here are all homers and they have to let us know when there team won.

at least we are capable of admitting more than 1 or 2 teams present a problem for the rockets. to you only the spurs and the heat can beat the clippers when they havent made the wcf like ever. i can admit there are a hanful of teams that can win a 7 game series againt the rockets and we are higher than the clippers.

Lol, you're wrong. People used to bash Harden daily here. Luckily he's played great except for the odd game here and there recently. It's some people here who don't seem to get that GARM will bash any rocket player, including Lin...based on performance.

There are fans intensely critical even after a blowout win. It's just the way it is, with the internet. Too much power, knowing nothing can really happen to you behind a computer screen.

LMAO. I actually knee-jerked and dropped him for Hamilton tonight, so I hope these games haven't been a fluke. T. Jones may be next.

If you are that tired of me then why do you quote me?

And why do I have to justify anything to you in the first place? I'm a Rockets fan. So are you I presume. You're here and that makes sense.

He's a Clippers fan. He's talking crap about Harden flopping RIGHT at the end of a game we lost when his own team is the FLOP masters.

Why the hell are you DEFENDING HIM?

I'll have you know that I've been watching Rockets basketball for 48 years now. Sure there's been plenty of disappointing times but this was a team that was supposed to contend for a title and I'm seeing nothing close to that. We have too many overpaid players (Omer Asik and Jeremy Lin) and a coach that doesn't know a pick and roll from a pump-fake. Daryl Morey is burning this team to the ground and it's sad to see a once great franchise head in that direction.

Well look at the bright side. This isn't our usual game. We can play way better than this. And Clippers are an elite team this year and we are too. We have bad games once in a while but we always bounce back from it. We are not a finished product yet and from we can learn from this loss. (hopefully...)

That's pretty much on point. Rockets need to find a way to work through it.
