I can't believe some of the things I'm reading tonight.

Rockets go from borderline playoff team to a team that has a chance to finish #1 in the West and Dwight isn't that much of a difference?

Asik's defense definitely is on the level of Dwight...but offensively it is not even close. Dwight's ability to bang in the post (if the refs let him) and randomly catch oops and finish strong is a pretty big difference.

He also defends vertically and Asik just doesn't do that consistently.

 

McHale does not play PnR, period. We are not even playing PnR with three elite PnR players on the team.... You guys only need to check the posts last summer to know how many discussions we had on Harden / Lin + Howard PnR. We are not even executing that!!!

The only thing Lin is elite is his PnR play which utilizes his quick first step and his control of body. He is useless if we do not play PnR.

 

Do you really think this team is capable of winning a championship?

From reading these game threads it seems like Lin, Bev, or McHale are the deciding factors in all of our games. And by deciding factors I mean when we lose it's their fault. Winning is a miracle!!!

 

I don't care. This is the latest I've stayed up in a while to watch a game and it turns out to be this turd.

 

Whoa dude! Be careful calling Beverley 'scared' in this forum. The hype from Rockets central is all about his 'toughness' and 'tenacity'. I like him but I think he is being elevated to something that he is not.
