For starters, I think you underestimate Doc Rivers. Both Blake and Deandre are substantially different (read: better) players than they were last year. Blake's game has expanded pretty dramatically... he has a solid face-up game this season and is a legit threat from mid-range. Their two best bench players (Crawford and Barnes) weren't there last season.

I think we are significantly better with Dwight, and I also think this game was extremely winnable -- just a lot of very sloppy execution.

    I'm not your buddy.

Lin IS the turnover king per minute played. Its not even close. 4.3 per 48 minutes played.

As far as Pats O, its not his job....but I seem to remember him hitting a game winning 3 on the road at Phoenix Sunday.

I know right... Is he expecting Lin to be the savior in those 18 minutes?

Dude - at least he tried to make something happen - he took 8 shots in 18 minutes - Bev took 2......2!!! shots in 29 minutes while the rest of the starters were struggling, Harden was being hounded and Parsons was whatever, your starting PG needs to be SOME kind of offensive threat - Bev played scared on the offensive side tonight.

Sometimes he gets annoying yes but he's better than lots of posters here. It pleases me that fans from other teams post here actually. I think this is the best forum out of all NBA teams, and when fans from other teams discover this forum and want to post here, I don't mind.

Come playoff time teams will do what the clippers did the last 5 min on harden. I hope we find an answer for that otherwise we will only win if we have blow out games because we will not win any close ones.

Wow, you gonna be this sensitive any time someone mentions how deep the Clips are compared to our team who's only got 3 players in double digits? I wasn't talking about your precious hero, although he did play like a timid schoolgirl for the 9th game in a row.

This exactly, rockets propped him up before the all-star break to see if a team will bite, no one did and now his just a 15-20 min guy till they can trade him in the off-season

He's going to avg 7/3 the rest of the way on 18 min.

But bev is not the answer, we need to find a new guy in the off-season, so bev can go back to the bench where he belongs

Doc River knows how to shut down Harden, and Howard just don't match up well against DeAndre, we needed some1 else to step up tonight. The game was very close and manageable until we had TOs after TOs. Harden really needs to take care of his passes better during crunch time and Patrick Beverley desperately needs to become at lease somewhat of an offensive threat. Bringing him in for defensive purpose alone does not work. Parson needed to step up

Dwight has turned the corner this month.

This game Harden was pathetic and he isn't getting bashed as much as he should due to people bashing the pg play. Harden is the primary ball handler of the team and 6 to's to 3 assist isn't going to cut it especially when he only gives 18 points on 37% shooting.

He was the biggest problem tonight, oh and his defense was also bad. Again

Lin thought he was going to be traded. To be fair, he is still playing hard. But he does not seem to commend any respect from his teammates... Honestly, no one takes you seriously if you just give up your spot without a fight....

It's not like I'm not mad as hell about this loss....I hate the clips and I hate losses in general....but some of the posts out there just make me frustrated. ...it's worse because I know it won't stop. People were seriously saying bench parsons and start Hamilton. After two games. I would like to think we're collectively better than that.

Losing a game isn't a big deal. It's the way they lost it that is the problem. Turnovers and giving up offensive rebounds. That isn't a problem just in this game.

Lin and Jones have also been playing scared like this for weeks. The better the competition, the worse they play.

I'd say that's cause for a rational observer to be concerned.

What do you guys mean why play Lin? Who else do you suggest McHale play?

Agree. McHale on the other hand, "Play harder! If you feel like it, just take the ball from back court and try to make a play out of it".
