ClutchFans Game Thread: Rockets @ Clippers 2/26/2014

Not an excuse, it's just a fact that NBA teams play worse on the road and in the 2nd half of back to back. It's in the stats and even Vegas betting lines reflect this.

The effort there for the most part, and that's how they didn't get blown out. Fought back, but never could get the same energy. Dribble penetrations not as fast, layups blown, jumpers fall short.

Ban clippy for what? There's much worse poster's in here then clippy IMO.

 

Bev was terrible. I don't know how any of you can justify 4 TO and 6 Fouls including 4 down the stretch to be a good defensive game. Yeah he played Cp3 real tight, the dude only had 1 TO.

 

You're gonna accept crap because Bev gets paid crap - Hou deserves a better PG. PERIOD!

 

Lin is a bench player on a 3 year 25 million contract who is at this point a walking turnover.

Beverly is a D leaguer who was brought back from Russia last year.

Yeah...lets point the finger at Beverly cause we need to save Lin fans feelings.

Have the Clippers become this generation's Rockets' version of the 90s SuperSonics?

Both teams have hyper athletic forwards that give our big men problems, elite PGs that abuse our lesser 1's, and a bunch of shooters that pick apart our defense.

It's not hard to see that both Bev and Lin are backup point guards.

 

Why ban clippy? He hasn't even said anything disrespectful except that the Clippers are a bad matchup and Harden Flops. It's not like he's in here trashing the team.

 

If he would have left Lin out there, Paul would have chewed him up and spit him out. You know, like he always does Jeremy.

 

He sat on the bench from 5 minutes left in the 2nd til 3 minutes left in the 3rd. That's a long ass time, of course he has no rhythm when he comes back in.

Also I think he got jobbed on some fouls that weren't called, had they been his game might not have looked as bad as it did.

 

why does Harden always play bad against Clippers?

In tonight's case, they played good D in him. Of course that's easy when nobody around him is hitting open shots

 

3-2 road trip. Hoped for better, but if you told me this was going to be the result before the trip began, I'd have taken it.

This is about what you expect from a good NBA team. Be at least .500 on the road and much better than that at home.
