    My take on this game:

    - The Twin Tower lineup and posting up Harden during that stretch was an atrocious playcall. There was no spacing at all leading towards double teams.

    - Lin, Parsons, Jones were atrocious.

    - Bev had a great defensive game.

    - The matchup between the Rockets and Clips is a lot closer then a lot of people then people think.

You really think Beverly is elite at everything except making plays?

Bev - 2 games with more turnovers than assists - not the answer at PG - not saying Lin is but Bev is for sure not the answer. This was a playoff type game and he contributed very little and let his emotions get the best of him - got rattled by Paul forcing turnovers etc. If I have to tell you Jones is not the answer at PF, you need help. Lin, a bench player is being used as a scapegoat so you guys can ignore the real issues. Not sure about Parsons either at this point.

    Positives...

The last time Houston played the Clippers in LA, they got trounced. So the team is much better now (Granted Redick is out, but the Griffin of now is a different beast than the Griffin in Nov/Dec.

March is where business begins. This was a good learning experience and Hamilton took it to another level against top competition.

Clippers are a better coached team, and there stars have more chemistry together.

Hopefully we bounce back and have a solid win against the Pistons and be ready for Miami. I just want to beat those ****ers once...just once.

Lin didn't compete. He played scared. Same with T Jones. You can't have guys in your rotation that shrink under the big lights if you want to win a championship. It seems pretty obvious why people are upset with their play.

Bev had a bad game tonight, but he competed. That's the difference.

I'm ok with players having poor games (it happens) as long as they compete.

I really like what I'm seeing from Hamilton. Great two first games and it looks like Morey has done it again.

I'd also love to have a Rondo type player on this team, but since that ship has sailed, it would be good to get another wing (Granger would be nice) in here. That gives you the ability to sit Lin (using Harden and Bev at point if needed) when he does this. It also gives you the flexibility to play small (sitting Jones).

    Multiple no-shows tonight. Multiple.

This was pretty disappointing -- I was expecting a 3-2 road trip, but I certainly hoped this would be one of the wins. A win tonight would have been a HUGE statement. Tough, tough, tough stretch ahead.

DMo and Asik were pretty great. Hamilton has been a bright spot -- hope he can keep it up.

Also, bev gets paid nothing and still starts over a guys with an 8 million dollar salary who comes in off the bench only to sulk and be anything but aggressive. Lin swindled us and it pisses me off

I beg to differ. Lin was dishing the ball well in the 4th. Dmo did not convert.

No kidding, our pg position leaves a lot to be desired. Bev solid defensively absolutely horrid offensively. Teams can basically cheat off bev since his 3 is barely respectable. Lin, solid offene, medicore defensively, gets stuck in the air or picks up his trouble.

The next problem with both our pgs is neither one is a true 3 pt threat.
