I'll never get you people, & that's a good thing. This Bozo is NOT the difference between a championship & anything else. He's a former big name, with no more game. & YES ... I'm Droppin' bombs like Hiroshima.
I don't get why people think that the Rockets don't get enough media attention. We just saw two articles by SI and Yahoo talking about how the Rockets look like contenders today.
Because if you turn on local Houston sports radio today, you're way more likely to hear projections and analysis of the 30th round of the NFL draft than anything about the Rockets. 2014's league-best basketball is trumped by NFL's worst team.
Your inference that he's a star with title experience sums up you contributions to the bbs. Thanks for bringing shame on Aussie IQ.
Certainly two of 3; or 4. Crawford? He's a greater headache than the JET was. I love our guys, but let's be real - - the Clips are at least as good as we. Granger will be a + for the winner of the DG-sweeps, but not a panacea for any.
Howard is a better player than Blake. And I really do feel that Harden is a better player than Chris Paul at the moment.
Have you seen Blake this year? He's better than Dwight currently (in my opinion). 1. CP3 2. Griffin 3. Harden
You may be right, or not. It is certainly an arguable position on these guys WHO ARE JUST PLAIN GOOD! But, there is no clear advantage of one pair over the other. Rest of the starters? Close enough, again. Doc v KMc? Clear advantage to Clips. Bench? Advantage Clips. Add DG to Rox' side and mebbe pretty close.
Cot damn Doc Rivers is loved by everyone. From Fat Baby to Captain Jack to God knows who, his reach is beyond my comprehension. Right now: 1. Clips 2. Rockets/Spurs Talked briefly with my homie today...It all comes down to the role. The Role. Danny isn't going to be happy with 10-15 a game. He wants to contribute more than riding around for a ring. I don't see how the Clips can offer him any of that "role" or the minutes, but Doc is a POWERHOUSE. But, not to fear, I heard that Danny really LIKES the Spurs, but he doesn't like how S.Jackson was booted (they're tight) and the age issue. Also, his role on that team. They're selling the Robert Horry role (legit) and (per HoopsHype) and my dude says Danny is not a Robert Horry. He doesn't want to come in in the last 5 minutes for heroics. He wants consistent minutes, a role and respect. Shoot, that's why the Heat never had a chance. Danny is a stand up dude. Real recognize real. (that last part was just me ) So, basically, this is the best I can make of what I was told within the last 2 hours: The Rockets are in the top 3 as a Darkhorse. They are EMERGING though. Remember, as I posted in the "Danny was Waived Thread" to explain the cryptic stuff I had to post, Morey LOVES what Granger brings. Before Philly had the better package, he was ours. Someone who follows the Mavs religiously may understand this more, but I get the jist, but my friend said the following: "The Spurs want him to be Robert. The Rockets want him to be a younger VC." read/take with a grain of salt/ flame me/slander me/ doubt me...but just sharing. I hope Morey comes through. Love ya'll. Cod
Of course Howard is a better player career-wise than Griffin, however this year, Griffin has played better. and thanks Codman for the info!
