Its not a definite rank, but it gives you a good guide, and Jeremy Lin is closer to average or below than a good player. He may have a hot streak and improve, but he is much to inconsistent to be an above average player. BTW Brooke Lopez is pretty good. Just hurt.
To be fair Clutch did lock the 'Lin Freaking Sucks!' thread. I guess this thread is the equivalent to the 'Fire Mchale' thread where every Lin criticism goes here.
Bev and Lin play well together where as any pg who plays with harden is reduced because majority of the time it's dependant on his iso game. Bev role is to hustle and get the ball to harden...JLin does not suit this role. Therefore, JLin is demoted to 6th man because of his true point guard ability. It is not because he's inferior. The team(mchale), would rather have harden run the ball instead of the pg. I honestly think this team doesn't want or believe in PG should run the floor. Lowry, Dragic and now Lin. Mchale idea of a PG is bev who just hustle for the ball and allow the SG and PF do all the scoring and creating. What bothers me is the LOH who comes on this board and "try" to reduce Lin and to bait the LOF. Everyone knows by now LOF are sensitive so why do they keep tirring the pot? Thank goodness JLin contract is up next year. Hopefully, he can go to a team where they need and believe PG should run the game.
Might as well Sticky this thread. It's never going to leave the top. At least we can provide all the Lin crazies on both sides somewhere to go.
Ah, is that the reason it's alright to bash on one of the team's players, and spew all this blind hate on this forum. It is for the best for his game. Like he would even read this board (Liberon, I don't know who you are and so don't mean to target you. This is just for all the haters out there whose posts everyone is getting tired of reading.)
Davek: and there you have your answer. Haters will hate. Haters enjoy hating, and inciting hate in others. (Sorry vlaurelio, nothing personal, I like some of your posts, but you made that too easy.)
Even in a massive blowout, McHale has to call a timeout specifically to get Lin out of the game for making dumb decisions. Terrible.
We can't amnesty Lin. We don't have many big salary guys on the team besides Harden/Dwight (who obviously won't be traded). We need Lin's contract to be used as a salary filler to match a trade if we want someone like Kevin Love.
Been watching the game for more than 2 decades and I've seen this happen countless times to many different players. What's so hateful about Lin that he gets to be singled out in this case?
You know nothing about NBA economics if you think $8 million is "superstar money." This is Rodney Stuckey-George Hill-Jose Calderon money. Superstar money is somewhere around $18 million+.
this board...is obsessed with lin, trade him already and lets pretend his houston nightmare never happened
