I don't like anything they are doing now. Wyatts v. Shield was the only great match of the show but would have been a better WM match. Orton v. Batista is just the worse. Orton better win. Kane/Bryan fued just does nothing to satisfy me. Bryan deserves the big match. Lesnar better show up on RAW and do something. Punk needs to come back. Wyatts v. Cena and whoever is alright I bet they do nothing to build on Cesaro getting pop on Raw and SD
Things will get better once Taker and Hogan show up on Monday, and i think WM 30 will have a solid card altogether, its just Bryan won't be main eventing which is fine... I hate these fans that think they are supposed to just love everything that happens in wrestling.
There have been a few others in Mania history. WrestleMania XXIV: Randy Orton (c) vs Triple H vs John Cena This was a year before the Orton/Trips match that had the great build that included Orton punting Vince and Shane and kissing Steph. For this match the triple threat stipulation worked because Orton and Trips had a good feud through the second half of 2007 when Cena was out, and before Cena went out he was involved in a serious feud with Orton that saw Orton punt his dad. From a story standpoint this match made perfect sense. It was a decent match. I never would have thought Orton would walk out champ but he did (Trips hits the pedigree on Cena and Orton punts Trips and then pins Cena). Orton would drop the title in a month which makes him walking out of Mania with it all the more strange but still a good match, just a level below Tripe/Shawn/Benoit WrestleMania XXV: Edge (c) vs John Cena vs Big Show This would be an example of a not so good triple threat. Edge and Cena had been on again off again since the beginning of 2006 so they had a well built story. The addition of Show is a head scratcher. The story went that Show was hooking up with Vickie and of course she was with Edge at the time. I remember during the buildup to the match Cena almost seemed like the 3rd wheel and the forgotten participant which is weird considering it was Cena. The match was average but did have the memorable moment of Cena F-U'ing both Show and Edge at the same time. Even with that spot this match is well below the other 2. WrestleMania XVII: Triple H (c) vs The Rock vs Big Show vs Mankind Not a triple threat but still more than just a singles match so I figured I would throw it in their. Rock won the Rumble but Show kept protesting saying Rock's feet touched first. They went with that for a few weeks until Show was able to show an angle where Rock's feet touched first. That's how Show got in the match. As for Mankind he had back to back great brawls with HHH at the Rumble and the month after with the 2nd match "retiring" him. Linda steps in and reinstates him to make the main event a 4 corners match with a McMahon in every corner. Alot of people rip this match and their gripe is that it should have been a singles match between Rock and HHH who had a great feud as midcarders back in 98 and where about to begin a great feud as main eventers in 2000. What they fail to realize is that with the elimination rules in place for this match we got nearly 25 minutes between Rock and HHH. And that was a great 25 minutes as those 2 always produced against each other (seriously, try to find a Rock/HHH match that sucked). I hold this match in just as mutch regard as Trips/Shawn/Benoit. While not as polished and technical, this match was a great attitude era match with false endings, interference and of course a great double cross. Now if we get Orton/Batista/Bryan, I fear it will be more like the Edge/Cena/Show match than the other two. Batista would probably be the odd man out as he connects in no way with Bryan. As much as the majority of fans seem to hate Bryan being left out of the title match Batista/Orton makes the most sense. It's an easy story with the evolution backdrop and we will probably get Flair involved in some capacity (probably ref). That doesn't mean it will be the best match but it does make the most sense. I just worry that the fans will hijack the bout as they have any main event not featuring Bryan in the past 4 months or so.
Getting ready to commit and buy it. Wasn't gonna buy it this morning cause of traffic. I'll buy it now on my lunch hour.
I signed up for it at work but can't access any of the content for obvious reasons. Will check it out when i get home.
Your right they can continue to boo the boring washed up Batista and cheer the sadistic heel. Instead of putting the guy who can outwrestle, outdraw and works harder than anyone in the company (Bryan) in the deserving main event. Don't care what Hogan has to say and don't care what Taker does unless it's again Lesnar or Punk 2. Lesnar should be in Batista's spot
You can chose to pay 60 for six months, 10 bucks a month with a 6 month commitment or the Free trial where they charge you 10 bucks in exactly one week if you don't cancel beforehand.
look man nobody is forcing you to watch... if you don't like it than bounce. Im not happy with the main event, but thats nothing new... I can't even remember the last time where the main event was my favorite match on the card, 17 between Austin and Rock at the Astrodome is the most recent one that i can think of.
I don't think they must put Bryan into the main event, but they do need to do SOMETHING about the title match. It's OK to not have the title match be everyone's favorite. But I feel that Orton-Batista is getting almost universally crapped on. Is there any part of the fan base excited about it? I don't think it's just an "internet fans/smarks" problem at this point. I get the logic of bringing "Big Dave" back: he is in a Marvel movie and the cross promotional opportunities are substantial. But the execution has just been poor. It seems that the company just expects everyone to remember and love Batista right when he comes back. So they didn't really bother writing him into an interesting story line, or even put him into the ring more than a couple times in an actual match, to get fans familiar with and excited about him. I don't think that's the right assumption. He's been gone for, what, 4 years? Do fans, especially the younger children and new wrestling fans even remember him? It's not like he has really been in the public eye like the Rock was during his absence from TV wrestling. Some fans know he has a movie, but that movie isn't until the summer and there is little more than some promotional trailers and photos on the internet about it.
they charge after the 1 week trial ends. you have the cancel before the week is up if you dont want it for 6 months. they will charge monthly
Anyone else unable to watch most of the videos? Or they'll start and lag terribly. I've seen one or two PPVs already without a problem, but the rest are terrible. Is it a WWENetwork problem or does my internet just suck? I really wanna get it just to be able to have some nostalgia, but I ain't gettin this if I can't watch anything.
WWE Network problem. I haven't been able to watch most videos either. They're also having problems allowing members to log in through Xbox. Thus far, there's too many glitches to even consider committing to 6 months of this frustrating process.
Live feed was running fine for me. The issue I had was with watching old PPV videos. It kept freezing and booting me out of my iPad. Are you able to watch old videos on your iPad?
