It was an accident. We get that. But you have to laugh at Lin's idiocy here. I have watched the replay a couple of times and its not like Lin turned around and therefore could not have seen the elbow.. He literally ran INTO Harden's elbow. Lin was running in that direction. He would have to be blind to not to have seen it. It was unintentional but reckless, nevertheless. Fight through the screen, not your teammate's elbow. What made it worse that harden was completely unaware to what was coming and could not even protect himself. I cringed as soon as I saw it happen the first time.
If Harden's seriously hurt then i will take it out on everyone. I will not show up to work. I'll only give my cat one can of food a day. I'll ignore everyone's calls. I'll cut people in line in public. I'll take two parking spaces when I park. I'll even talk on the phone in libraries.
If it was a Warrior player that was injured Lin would have been a hero. Some people in here would blame Lin when their GF is pregnant...*SMH*
I came here to check on Harden's condition. Instead, I get the 3 pages of the blame game. I don't care about that. All I want to know is if Harden is all right, how long he'll be out (or an estimate based on other player/people's experience with the injury), etc. Stop talking about Lin (unless he's injured too.)
Lin haters need to grow up and shut up. Just go watch the replay in real time at 2:58 OT. Clearly, Lin was chasing Thompson by going under Iggy's screen, and he had a bit less than 0.5 seconds to realize an elbow in his face while running at full speed. I knew this crap was gonna get brought up in the GARM you miserable haters. On second thought, you dummies probably don't even know what 0.5 seconds feels like.
Lighten up man. Really it doesn't help. Haters will hate and hating haters for hating just makes more hate.
Lin is friends with guys like Curry and Lee. It's his home town crowd and he bought a stack of people tickets for this game. He had yet another one of those hesitation shooting games..
or maybe he decided to take our harden because of his friendship with curry and lee plus his love for the hometown crowd?
Yes, it was an accident, but it was a really freaking stupid accident by Jeremy. I watched the replay and thought he was trying to force his way through Jame's arm.
I guarantee you people that Mchale's overuse of Harden and Parsons will hurt them far more than any accidental collision with Lin. Not a coincidence Harden broke down post-All Star break last year... Coach needs to trust his other players more than overplaying a few. No good comes out of it.
Parsons went 8 of 24 and nobody is only his back for volume shooting... with guys like Lin and Bev so hesistant it's no wonder.
double-standards obviously. Harden - never, Parsons is the goldenboy. Lin is an easy target. It is what it is sadly.
Grow up! Sports come with injuries, blame Lin as much as you like, but saying he did it intentionally is just outrageous. What's going on with CF nowadays?
probably best you don't watch it. It was just ugly - not in terms of severity but ugly as in bad play all around. Lin didn't see the arm at all and Harden's arm was in an awkward position. I don't ever recall seeing a player check his man by raising his arm to shoulder length before...but overall just a freak accident.
