Sources: Rockets have eyes on Rondo

Well, I literally read every post in this thread. Not disappointed.

Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose and sometimes, sometimes it rains.

Man what a day Hinkie and Sixers had today.

 

Win/win as in, if we get rondo, cool. But if we didnt, cool as well because our team is doing very well. It's not the end of the world that we didnt get Rondo or some other star. We roll with what we have and see what happens. Our last two big transaction happened in the offseason.

 

Actually I could see Morey coveting Rondo, seeing how much he loved Rubio.

Rondo is a stat freak. I would have loved to get him even though his mentality doesn't fit our locker room.

 

You really were hoping he'd blow the team up for a PG that wouldn't fit the team weren't you?

 

I am disappointed, but perhaps this is just an attempt to show interest in an attempt to sign Rondo as FA.

But what about Asik/Lin? Are we stuck with them for another 1.5 years? Sigh.

Even if it was from Morey, it's not a sure thing. Let's say cyberx is Morey. Does he control the other party? No.

Cyberx's integrity stays intact.

To me it just means that he's still looking at the bigger picture. We will make our best run with this group, and if it doesnt work, reload in 2015 with Love or Aldridge.

I'm not sure why Les kept Morey and let Hinkie go.

Hinkie is probably cheaper too.

 

Sure, if Asik have the heart to play and we really use Lin effectively. I just don't see that happening. Man I was really hoping for a 3rd star.

 

Relieved, mostly. A bit disappointed we just lost our best shooter. Maybe Hamilton will step his game up.

 

Sixers still have 16 players on their roster and would have to cut one more player.

I will drop it..... I didn't expect Rondo to be a Rocket (yet) and only expected a smaller move (thought it would be better than Hamilton though).
