Rockets trade Aaron Brooks for Jordan Hamilton

For the folks that have followed Hamilton, can he defend Durant?

 

reminds me of lance stephenson without the passing skills..

 

My only guess is that AB wanted PT after all and he must have asked to be moved or blessed it behind the scenes. Otherwise it makes no sense.

Our trades have been pretty underwhelming since Sam Hinkie left. Philly has been burning up the phone lines making smart deals at every turn. I suppose that could just be coincidence but I'm starting to doubt it. I hope it's simply because Hinkie has a much different agenda than Morey right now, and not that Hinkie was propping Morey up all those years.

 

I think he played WITH Durant at UT. Or he might have been a year after.

 

I hate to see AB go, but I respect him wanting minutes -- he deserves them. He will definitely be missed by me.

 

Ok so new guy brings the 3 in 3&D wing, but where is the defense??? Are we really not making a move to improve our defense?

this could end up being a terrible trade if lin or bev gets injured.

brooks was very good in the playoffs last year.

 

I thought Hamilton's thing was that we is a plus defender. no?

 

how do you not understand that the rockets got a cheap expring athletic wing player that can play defense while only giving up 1 of 4 point guards on the team.

 

What kind of post is this? Rockets need stability Philly needs picks. 2 completely different situations
