Its tough in you dont want to give up parsons for just rondo, but if u get a sf in return, then it gets to be more enticing. I think rondo is a great pg, but who knows if its worth it chemistry wise, and pgs who come back from acl are prone to get injured again, rose, westbrook. Thats why its tough to evaluate.
Dude wasn't flopping. He was playing through pain with bone grinding on bone through out the 2006 Play Offs and Finals. He no have meniscus in his knee.
Nah I totally get the reasoning behind it, ideally rondo would've played maybe 20-30 games so we can get a better gauge of where he's at physically, and ofcourse it would be a massive dick move by morey to trade away parsons after he worked so hard to recruit Dwight. But if the rondo you're getting is the top 3/4/5 PG that we know, you've gotta pull the trigger. But Love would be ideal given our brand of basketball.
I refuse to believe Morey is stupid enough to trade Parsons. He's the type of competitive role player championship teams need.
Even though Rondo is an improvement over Lin and Beverly. I wouldn't trade Parsons for Rondo. Parsons is taller, better shooter/scorer than Rondo. Morey please keep Parsons.
i dont want to see parsons go, but rondo is a pretty good player. although i am not too sure if he is going to get injured again...
I'm for keeping Parsons. But Rondo is BIG GAME player. There were times Rondo was the best player with Boston's big 3 on the court. That guy is as elite as they come. I don't know if you pass guys like that up. It's hard
I'm much more a team building guy, and like players who compliment each other rather than just stacking a team with as much raw talent as possible. And Parsons fits into this team like a glove. I just don't see the fit between Harden and Rondo. Both are ball dominant guards, and the fact that Rondo can't shoot would make it difficult for him to play off Harden
To go along wth jcmoon's thread. I'm bumping this for all the homers that are going to try to say they were never opposed to trading Parsons. Bumpity.
