When he was asked about his future with Rockets, he said that he had a talk with Rudi T. and that he promised him more playing time next season. Also he said that Rudi said that he would like him to play in european championships this summer, because he will get much needed playing time and experience.
So expect more Boki sightings next season.

Just because Rudi T said Boki would play means nothing, wait until Rudy T. says something.

If we end up trading Cat, I hope that Rudy would try a line up with Steve, Posey, and Nachbar. That would create a bigger more defensive minded back court, and would give us a sharp shooter that we can count on.

I guess with the experience, Nachbar should be ready to play come summer leagues.

    front office personnel can't guarantee a player's time in a game. ;)

Nachbar getting more time next year? I should hope so! His output is needed on this team!

So, if he plays in Europe this summer does that mean he is not playing in the Summer Leagues!? He needs that time in the NBA to get used to the NBA styles of games.

Glen Rice will be another year older, so if we keep him, he'll play less, and if we move him (*cough* Shareef *cough*)...one way or the other, Boki should get out on the floor more.

But in the unlikely event Rudy gets moved upstairs...well, how do you say "coc*suc*ing motherf****** sonofab**** a**hol* buttmongers" in Slovenian?

I remember when Mirsad Doogie Howser Turkcan found his way onto the Knicks (briefly). He was arguing on the practice floor with Van Gundy. Mirsad was saying, "Why you make him the '3'?" pointing to another player. "He not a 3. He a 4. I should be '3.'"

And JVG pointed at Mirsad and told him, "You '3', me fired."

So for Boki's sake, he should hope Rudy sticks around.

European championship starts 5.9.03. We can expect that our coach will call the players somewhere in the beginning or middle of August. I think that he will be able to play in the Summer Leagues.

Nachbar really should've talked to Van Gundy, not Rudy.

Do we know he can shoot???

I know he hit a couple of 3's but I have to admit I was not impressed with his shooting. But then again he didn't get much time.

for some reason (actually multiple reasons), i can't see rudy working his players real hard during practices. considering their poor level of execution and razor thin playbook, i'm betting those practices are not far from cakewalks.
