I was reading that article again, and I noticed that it said these guys were found with less than 2 ounces of mar1juana. Now my question is, is that some kind of legal issue where the punishment increases if they found more than two ounces? One ounce of mar1juana is a lot of weed. They could have burned a few blunts with just one ounce. Also, anyone listening to 610 this morning when John and Lance were saying another guy (non athlete) already signed an affidavit saying it was his mar1juana, he borrowed the car and left it in there. WHAT POT HEAD FORGETS AN OUNCE OF mar1juana IN HIS FRIEND'S CAR???? This is going to be funny how it plays out.
What amazes me is how these college athletes are so freakin stupid. They have it made for 4 years. They will get to party all the time, get classes that are passed for them, get tons of girls, money under the table, free EVERYTHING...their only job is to play football and not get caught doing something illegal. Let's review: 1. Play football. 2. Don't get caught doing something illegal. That is their ONLY job and they have it made. Stupid.
YES ! That is when it goes from a misdemeanor (1st timers usually get timed served and a fine as the only punishment) to a felony, and the charge is no longer possession, the charge now includes "with the intent to distribute" which carries a MUCH tougher penalty. The "less than 2 ounces" means it could be 1.9999....oz, or it could be a small bag. I assume they are looking for quantity and not quality or there would be a tougher penalty for a half ounce of that hydro you pot heads smoke
I don't know why they call him Stoney, but maybe I should make my return to Jersey Village and ask around.
Amen. As much of a loss it would be to lose 2 of them, I am all for them getting kicked off the team.
You're kidding right? These guys are all studs. Selvin will get 35-40% of the carries next fall. Dibbles will be in the rotation at DT. McCullough is our #3 CB after Vasher and Griffin - and will be important in dime coverage. Aaron Harris will be an impact player at MLB next fall now that Bull Reese has moved Boyd to strongside LB or "SAM."
