McHale liked him because he was a good player, made good decisions, and played with energy. So yes, McHale liking players has a lot to do with what is going on...he likes players that give him the best chance to win.

unless goran uses the european exchange rate it would be difficult to convert 19 points from 9 shots. dragic would be in the role that lowry was when dragic was starting.

we all know it's not coach kevin who draws up that 'sticky play', though it's funny to joke about it. That's harden basically audibling from coach's play to whatever he is in the mood to run. So if he 'freestyles' away from Coach, somehow some way Harden is going to listen to Goran and let him run the show? yeah ok.

Of course when Harden is in a 'facilitating mood',as he calls it, then gogi would put up his 20 points or when harden is out with injuries, gogi would put up 30,34.

Turnovers would be much improved though, by 1.1.

If Rockets had Steve Nash or some other mentors of his around, probably.
It's all about motivation. (again 11.7 pts and 5.3 assists last time in Houston)

Let's just appreciate what Dragic did and what Lin does now and move on with life.

But Dragic didn't explode last season either when he was playing for Phoenix, and he had the chance to play PG all he wanted (although Dragic did put up solid numbers).

Dragic is simply having a phenomenal year, and he has been playing well with and without Bledsoe.

Sure he turned out a better player than before. But do I think he is the best fit... Probably not.

The best fit would be Patrick Beverley with even better D and scoring prowess

    a 14 pt and 6-8 assist player.

Essentially a Terrence Jones as a guard player but with more drive, assists 'garbage man mentality' shooter. Hard to figure out if Bev can be that guy.

Stop, stop, stop! We all know Walmart sells crystal balls for $5.99, and any decision Morey made/makes/or will make is wrong! Also, Lin is scum of the earth, and Dragic is the Golden Boy!

I have spoken in absolute truths...

Huge screw up on the Rockets part, I knew it was a mistake at the time to let him go and it still is. Imagine him with the team now. He would be the cherry on top.

See this is the issue, how was Morey meant to forsee us getting Harden and Howard in such a short period of time? Sure Dragic would be great on the team we've constructed as of now, but at the time it Morey was thinking about cap flexibility to go after a legit star in 2015. Thats why Lin was 3 yrs.

What a humble guy. I hope people don't slight him just because English isn't his first language.

Dragic didn't want to stay with the Rockets. He wanted to go back to Phx ("prove them wrong for trading him in the 1st place"), yet you guys complain that he should've stayed. lol

Dragic and Harden would have been the best 1-2 guard combo in the league. Had we gotten the OKC trade earlier, we would have been able to keep them both I believe. Although, since I don't think Dragic over Bev/Lin would've pushed us into NBA finals, it is a moot point. Lin is not going to be a Rocket in 2015 because Morey will use his and Asik's cap space to pay that third star.
