Hakeem Olajuwon $16,700,000 to miami Tom Gugliotta $9,360,000 to houston A.C. Green $2,250,000 to houston Dan Majerle $4,050,000 to houston Carlos Rogers $2,200,000 to atlanta Cedric Ceballos $3,937,500 to atlanta Ricky Davis $939,360 to atlanta Anfernee Hardaway $10,125,000 to atlanta Dikembe Mutombo $14,423,400 to phoenix Anthony Mason $5,553,900 to phoenix miami gives up a whoooole lot in this trade, so i seriously doubt they go for it. i just noticed that, they only get dream in return. this is the only way i could get it to work, im sure theres some other that would work. i tried doing trades with vancouver and new york involved, but couldnt get anything going. maybe miami would go for this if they got atlanta's first rounder next year with no strings attatched? atlanta and phoenix definitely get a good deal out of this. atlanta had to use $939,360 of their $1,200,000 trade exemption in order for this trade to go through. atlanta has $260,640 left of their previous trade exemption to use in another trade. houston would also receive a trade exemption of $3,340,000 with this trade. This would have to be used within one calendar year from the date of this trade. Be aware that this exemption will be extinguished if the team which possesses it falls below the cap by the combined amount of the exemptions it currently possesses. ------------------ people who are related dont have to look alike. my mom and dad dont resemble each other at all [This message has been edited by jamma34 (edited December 12, 2000).]
Whats the point in trading Dream? Jamma34, with the way Dream's playing right now were playoff-bound. With any of these other scrubs were lottery-bound. ------------------ [This message has been edited by ROCKETBOOSTER (edited December 12, 2000).]
Ummm, no offense, but that trade SUCKS! ------------------ Five to one baby, one in five...no one here gets, out alive.
Clutch, I thought you said you didn't want any of these RealGM Happy poster anymore? ------------------ Francis out top, 9 seconds on the clock, he gives a no look pass to Cuttino Mobley, 4 seconds left, Mobley passes to an open Langhi in the corner with 1 second left! Langhi at the buzzer.......YES!!! How Sweet It Is!!
Oh yeah, that trade does SUCK! ------------------ Francis out top, 9 seconds on the clock, he gives a no look pass to Cuttino Mobley, 4 seconds left, Mobley passes to an open Langhi in the corner with 1 second left! Langhi at the buzzer.......YES!!! How Sweet It Is!!
"Clutch, I thought you said you didn't want any of these RealGM Happy poster anymore? " QUit complaining... You saw that this thread involved RealGM, so what the hell did you expect? If you don't wanna see the RealGM trades, then don't open the thread if they state RealGM in it... Geez, go cry to Clutch about it... I guess you still go to mommy when you get a boo-boo right? ------------------ Check out my homepage! Loads of sports pics! http://www.public.asu.edu/~sykim/
i didnt know clutch didnt want the realgm "happy" posts anymore. sorry about that. but bottom line is this, we might make playoffs with dream this year, but next year, we woudlnt! we need to get what we can get! im not saying this trade is the answer, its just sometihng that worked out. i am the most die hard dream supporter there is. i love the man to death. but at the same time, as a die hard rockets fan, whats best for the rockets, is to trade dream and get what we can. making the playoffs to go first and out this year means nothing if we'll be lottery bound again next year. ------------------ people who are related dont have to look alike. my mom and dad dont resemble each other at all
I don't think there's anything wrong with a thread dreamcasting based on reamGM, as long as it says realGM in the title. Lets people know what is inside: don't read if you don't like the thread's purpose. I don't want to speak for Clutch, but I think its obvious that a thread titled "Mo is going to Orlando" is misleading and annoying in a way that this one isn't. ------------------
