Just finished this weeks Nagi episode... All I have to say is if manaka doesn't end up with Hikari this will go from a 10 out of 10 anime to a 5 out of 10! :)

I love manaka just as much as miuna so I'm torn who I want together. I know for sure one will be taken out of the picture via the sea God, but I won't say who my guess is.

Higurashi, pupa (it's alright, but short), another, future diary, rin : daughters of mnemosyne.

It was only a matter of time before this happened:

Attack on Titan English Dub Premiere at Anime Boston

So clutchfans, prefer your anime in its native tongue or do you like to have your cake and eat it too with an English Dub?

Thing with sub vs dub. The only way I can watch a dub is if I've never seen the show in subs before. Example: watched 'clannad: after story' as a dub first, then watched 'clannad' in subs and now I can watch them either or. Then I watched 'sword art' in subs online and then tried watching dubbed on toonami and it sounds awful to me.

    Subs all the way!!

I posted on this about a year ago. My opinion as described in that post hasn't changed. There are a few situations where I prefer subs, but generally I'd rather watch a dub if it's available.

So, just had to post that the last episode of Kill-La-Kill was f'ing INCREDIBLE. I'm just in love with this show. It may already be in my top five favorite anime series of all time. Not a single episode has let me down at all so far.

Last ep of HunterXHunter was pretty tense and awesome too. Love the way that show craps all over the standard shounen tropes.

For me it's definitely the dub. I do a TON of artwork and love to watch TV/listen to podcasts while doing so. Of course this is MUCH easier to do with dubs and American animated shows because I only have to look at the screen during action scenes (now that I think about it, this may have contributed to Avatar: The Last Airbender, Young Justice, the DCAU, and Gargoyles being my all time favorite animated series, American or otherwise).

That being said, it has to be a well-done dub, like Code: Geass, Champloo, or Death Note, not crappy fare like Gurren Lagann that has me rushing to find a subbed version.

depends on the actors.. most of what I watch are subs right now.

Man...this is a good question. I prefer a good english dub over voices I can't understand...but if I've already seen an anime in japanese and really liked it chances are the english version will **** it up unless its funimation because they usually do an awesome job.

Yes that seems likely... but I will still be irritated if it's Manaka. I like Muina, she's cute and all, but I want poor Hikari to get what he wanted. The character is such a plucky fighter, like all the Korean rom-coms I've been watching I want the "underdog" to get the one that they love ;)

Did you go back to watch the first season of Love Chunibyo and other delusions? This last episode was really cute too.

I started Sword Art Online this week... I don't like it as much as Log Horizon, but I'm not too far into it yet either.

Haven't watched it yet. Think I'm in a hiatus since I've been missing new episodes a lot recently. Still haven't seen last week's ippo, log horizon, strike the blood.

It's funny because the first half of the season is the best and completely drops off in the second imo.

    Which one drops off? SAO?

I don't have the same fondness for the characters in SAO as in Log Horizon. Maybe because the only one that they really follow is Kirito so far. I think if there were more interactions with repeat characters in these first episodes I would care about them all more. In Log Horizon, they start out with three together and build from there. I'm all about the relationship/team building.

I've been watching SAO on youtube.

The three second fast forward feature (right arrow key) is really handy watching these kinds of anime...

I also didn't expect the second half of the season (past episode 15+) to end up like this. Haven't finished the whole thing but recent comments here will reset my expectations.

For you Attack on Titan fans (probably some spoilers, but I haven't seen the show so I wouldn't really know):

Grrrrrrrr, why they gotta end it there!!!!! Killua vs youpi next week.... Wonder how much interest he got from knuckles eight hits on him.

Yowamushi pedal is starting to blow by like hxh. Episode felt like it was 10 minutes long. Love that show.

Also, manaka is finally awake! And all it took was hikari yelling at Miuna.
