Can't believe I had my post deleted (unless I messed up something and did not post it),

the show came out all at one time and the people who haven't watched 1-2 yet really should not be looking at any forum on the internet.

If someone (or the person who deleted my post), could let me know how to include spoiler tags that would be great (I quick reply b!tch).

Liking the heronymous dude already. He'll probably get fcked by Frank but should survive for a season at least.

Kind of unexpected with the threesome near the end of episode 11.

Two more episodes left for me, but this season has been fantastic so far.

    1st episode spoilers:
I liked the episode but I feel the way Frank is going about killing people a little too cavalier and risky for him since he plays such a smart and calculating character. Still thought the episode was great though.

Just finished all 13 episodes. God damn, well done Mr President Underwood. Sure he had to kill a few people and wreck entire lives, but he made it and without even running in an election. While I liked the Tusk-Underwood battle ,something still made me think that a 67 year old self made billionaire like Tusk wouldn't be so stupid to fall into Frank's traps. It's wonderful to see how Frank's plan unfolds throughout the series though.

This is easily one of my favorite shows. Season 2 was just as good as 1, if not better.

I am most impressed by the writing and character developments. I thought I'd miss Zoe, but early in the series, I had pretty much forgotten about her. I think she would have grown stale and boring by the mid-series.
I appreciate the way they wrote Claires part. She is pretty much a sociopath as is Underwood. They do not let petty differences get in the way of the big picture. It was clever on how Claire simply give Janine the keys to her non-profit organization, wrapping up her business and the Janine story Arc in one scene.

Franks ride to the top was pretty spectacular. It was either him or Tusk who was going to fall. They both had their claws in the weak President Walker and one of them had to fall with him.

    Just finished Season 2.

I personally liked this even better than Season 1. Zoey killing caught me by surprise like it did for everyone else, but it was nice to have something unexpected that early. His plan to get to the top was just crazy, I kinda saw impeachment coming around, but I didn't realize he could corner Tusk and then also win his friendship back with Walker. A nice small cliffhanger onto season 3 with Rachel at the end there which really remains the only person along with Lucas Goodwin to tear Underwood down. All in all, a great season and I agree with Space Ghost regarding character development, this show has done a great job of that from episode 1.

That's a great point, the charity that Claire was running was wrapped up really well. I thought this season particularly showed how well Claire and Frank work and understand each other, Claire sacrificing her bill and pushing Frank to 'seduce' the President. What a gamble, but what a payoff. Question though, is Seth totally working for Frank? I thought I saw him standing with Tusk when Tusk confronts Remy about his failure?

just started watching this show, it's great

Can see why Obama likes it, it's all about acquiring power and using it to reward friends and punish enemies.

D&D it, douche. The people you support are all about power, as well- and if you think Bush, Reagan, etc. were not, then you're pretty f**king naive.

Frank asked Seth to contact Tusk to push Remy back to his side.

I am looking forward to the reign of President FU.

Just finished season 2. It's even better than the 1st, which I thought was impossible. So freaking good.

Is everyone back for a 3rd season? I thought at one point they said this was going to be the last because Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright want to focus on movies.

    Season 2 episode 1 question:

Claire cancels her future appointments with the fertility doctor. I assumed it was because she used Gillian's (future) child against her and she didn't want that to be a weakness for herself down the road.

My friend said the fertility visits were for a fact finding mission that helped her figure out how to trap Gillian with the medication/insurance situation.

    What say you?

still on the first season, a $200 million appropriation bill is a fart in the wind to congress, they blow hundreds of billions on crap like that every year

ludicrous that it would be politically significant

I was somewhat expecting it...they hinted at Frank swinging both ways in that college episode in the first season..then he caught Frank watching p*rn.right after that him and his wife sit in bed and talk about if they "miss it" but they just don't have time for it. Plus all the scenes where they're getting close to him personally and then Frank saying how much he missed him on his detail. I have a feeling it will have repercussions in the 3rd season.

Something about that threesome scene was really dark. It reminds me of Game of Thrones, where sex isn't fun but a sign of power.

I thought the end, with the president putting his full faith in Frank, was a stretch too. Frank sent him a letter and suddenly he loves the guys. Not even suspecting him anymore, but fully trusting him even though he knows he is going to be impeached.

Really...see I assumed that discussion between her and Frank about what they were working for while smoking was the inspiration for looking into the possibility of a child. I guess we're all supposed to come to that conclusion except I thought it was sincere?

I think it was mainly to find out more about the drugs. But deep down I think there are moments that she misses having a normal life.
