There is no such thing as if.

That's why Yao is a billion times better than mcgrady and Yao fans are better than mcgrady fans too.

    Nice meme.

I like how the dumb Lin fans don't count Yao as Asian and that Lin is "different".

Sorry suckers, Yao Ming mania was first before Linsanity .

Rocket fans were first and Knicks fans can suck it

Anyone see that move Yao pulls at the 1:40 mark? Reminds me of what Hakeem has been trying to teach Dwight to do all this time, yet Dwight has been unable to do. Don't let the defense set! Use your elbows.

Aside from that, what has always amazed me about Yao isn't just his play, but his ability to make people all say such great things about him while he was playing, after he retired and even now. I mean, it was universal. I still just see nothing but great things said about him, and I only have great things to say about him. I feel like that really shows you the professionalism and class in which he lived his life, even under the public spotlight. I don't know, but ring or not, that's a hell of a legacy to leave behind...

Morey never tried to trade Yao, because Yao was real.

Love Yao, obviously wish we didn't suffer injuries to T-Mac and Yao. But I do hate the ridiculous double standard people put on T-Mac than on Yao. People seem to remember only the bad things about T-Mac, none of the good just like people don't seem to remember the bad things about Yao (see Game 7, WCFR 2007).

Before his last injury i remember those string of games where he really had everything going. I hate to do it but "if" he didn't get hurt those last couple of times........ I think every Rockets fans knows where I'm going with this one.

Yao actually got hurt on the court, Tim Thomas fell on his foot and that did the damage that was irreversible.

When Tmac came to the Rockets, we knew he had health issues.

Tmac fans always blamed Yao for Tmac's inability to win a playoff series.

but Yao won a playoff series with lesser talent, because they weren't a diva-ish self centered superstar who didn't care about anyone else but himself.

Yao loved the Rockets and you know that to be true.

Tracy can say he loves the Rockets and you know that he would be lying.

Not to take anything away from Yao, because he was 100% the heart of the team, but the 08-09 roster was incredibly talented. I'd say the most talented group to share the floor with both Yao or T-Mac.

No, not in today's game. Yao was great and all but he wasn't exciting to watch.
Dwight's athleticism and mobility will take the Rockets further than a Yao team could offer.

That 08-09 played with no T-Mac. We'd had a Ring if BOTH weren't injured.

Tim Duncan was not exciting to watch how many championships did he win?
