So who plays backup center in the playoffs when Howard gets called for 2 fouls in the first 5 minutes? You? We need a capable backup center in any trades involving Asik.
would be nice to snag Ariza, he plays D , and hits 3s (obviously) Asik + Brewer for Ariza + Seraphin works, but even w/ Knicks 2nd round pick i dont think Wizards would do it ...
I doubt the Suns would take Boozer without getting a pick or some other asset back. But, who knows. Either way, them giving a pick in this deal wouldn't happen.
That might sound confusing. I meant, if you remove the Suns pick from the deal, it's an interesting trade idea. I suspect the Suns would want to get a pick in this deal, but who knows.
http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=kdgsvu2 Maybe do a trade around this, obviously there have to be some adjustments(picks, giving up DMO etc). You can also send lin to toronto and asik to boston.
rockets in : chandler, shumpert knicks in : asik, brewer, 2nd round pick knicks do it, get a better center when giving 100% for now and future, save money on cap space, get a 2nd round pick. If they say thats not enough swap brewer for convington ? rockets do it : get a there 3&d guy that has chemistry with lin, get a solid backup center that has p&r alley etc chemisty with lin.
I have a question and this seems like the only fitting place to post it. Do teams usually wait until the bitter end to make moves or might we see something happen sooner?
Yeah, been watching NBA for about 20yrs, but never got this deeply involved with a team before so never paid too much attention to trade deadlines and such.
Stoudemire's problem is not the bright lights. It's the fact that he doesn't have cartilidge in his knees to play on. The Suns Medical staff predicted a time table in which Amar'e would phyiscally fall apart and that came true fruition.
