    Guilty.

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-26164555

Former New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin, who was in office during Hurricane Katrina, has been found guilty of corruption.

He helped contractors secure millions of dollars of work in exchange for bribes, free trips and other gifts.

Nagin, 56, was charged in January 2013. He was found guilty of 20 of the 21 charges against him.

Mayor of the city from 2002-10, he was criticised for failing to implement his evacuation plan when Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans in 2005.

Sounds like New Orleans needs a new mascot.

I'll take a box of 100. I will not pay more than 3.99 per bracelet though.

Just another day in a long history of corruption in Louisiana politics.

The Longs, Edwin Edwards, etc. the list is long and Louisiana sits on top.

Sad that people attack the OP with their posts instead of addressing the subject matter...

    and this makes no sense.

The percentage of people that identify themselves as liberal is not very high.

Do you really believe that? Weird how I find this to be the complete opposite. I find conservatives keep it a secret.

Not to say I'm right, or you are right...it's just where you are and who you meet. So, neither statement is true; albeit, it can seem to be.

    You live in Boulder, dude.

It's like in baseball, every team wins 60 games, every team loses 60 games, it's what you do with the other 42 games that really matters.

I think Angola Prison is a standard part of the pension plan for Louisiana politicians.
