ClutchFans Game Thread: Wizards @ Rockets 2/12/2014

Bev might be more important than we think, I love Aaron but having a Bev/Lin combo is so valuable to this team.

 

Houston climbs to 3rd, they are ahead of the clippers and Blazers. Clippers division lead only guarantees a a top 4 seed.

 

at the end of games in a tight situation, there is no argument. harden gets the ball.

A win is a win, but I get the feeling the refs were giving us the game... On the last foul, Harden initiated the contact by trapping Ariza's arm with his own, and he still got the call. And on Harden's last drive, you can see all the Wizards players were so afraid of fouling that they just stood around.

 

I don't understand why people are hating on Lin so hard. 16 points. 5 assists. solid d. Sure, he had 5 turnovers, but John Wall is one of the better ball hawks in the league.

Dwight had a good game - but he had 7 turnovers.

Well they were also afraid of fouling cuz the Rockets were down only 1 and Harden was perfect from the line. They were smart to lay off the guy. The problem was their shotblockers were out of the game due to foul trouble.

 

Missed the last couple minutes. What did he do to make up for it? Honestly, even as a Lin fan, I don't consider this a good game for him due to turnovers

 

I survived a Heart Fail. Please no more of such games or I am going to need to increase my insurance money.

 

Definitely one of the most bizarre games I've seen in a while.

I don't think you can really analyze a game like this... just take the win and run.

 

Er.. not to rain on your parade but wall almost deserves to make those many misses considering that we had 24 - 9 turn overs.

They have a lower shot percentage than us while still making more baskets

Ok, looked at the box score and it tells a different story looks more like they were lucky to pull this one out with 24 turnovers!! Oh, well - I'll take wins however we can get them.

 

lol crazy I thought we were seriously going to lose this game. I was so freaking pissed until James Harden won it for us! SO FREAKIN HAPPY!

 

Will take the win but this game shows why many don't take this team as seriously as other upper-echelon teams. This team is winning on sheer talent, thats it. The basketball IQ for this team too many times is at r****ded level.

 

This is the kind of game contenders win.!!! Ariza destroys us behind the arc. Lin and Howard and others make boneheaded plays and we win.
