most places had us pegged at #4 and GSW at #5. They got a lot of love, but when push came to shove and it came down to picking where they ended up, the love sort of dried up.
The Warriors still have the best lineup in the NBA that's played over 100 minutes together (their starters)
Andre bought just isn't that good and andre iguodala is as average as he has been over the past couple seasons. Their "additions" didn't really improve the team
When did Shaq make it known what other teams he wanted to play for what teams he wanted play, next season, while seeking a new contract. Stonewalling an effort to be traded, because of the possible teams that he likely be traded ... throw his teammates under the bus, along with his coach, then go out and hug his coach in a serious press conference where a reporter asked a coach about his future. Finally got traded to one of his prospective teams, didn't get along with the superstar there, and was already looking for another team to go to for a new deal. A more sexy team ... yet felt jilted when Magic did not want to honor him. Name one thing Dwight did that made the Magic extraordinary, people certainly didn't make the people go to games in droves, like they did with Shaq, who was one of the more charismatic players in history. Who also had enough respect not to ask out of a contract or to be traded until the season was over with, while not throw anyone under the bus ...
If I was a fan of Orlando I would prefer what d12 did then shaq and lebron at the cavs, which is to allow the front office a chance to get some assets in return with a trade. They didn't ask to be traded they just left which was their right. But as fans of those teams you would be bitter. Doesn't matter what the player does either way fans wouldn't like it. D12 also left after failing consecutive years to return to the finals, shaq left right after a final appearance (that bothers me) Does d12 have character flaws sure, but so does everyone as well as shaq, such as his racist comments toward yao.
Right now he's playing through injury and the Warriors have the best defense in the Western Conference.
