[Travel]City that you had the most fun in the World?

It's hard to name one but I've had some great times in Dublin, Belfast, Perth, and Kuta Bali. In the US I would say New York.

 

Too hard to pick between Bryan and College Station - both are world class destinations.

 

Tie with Amsterdam and Montolieu, France.

 

Cumulatively, Houston. On a fun-per-hour basis, Rome.

 

Bali and Rio.

 

Chicago (Summer time) or Vegas

 

I am not a world traveler so I don't have the most educated opinion on this topic but I loved LA and Chicago (in the summer). I went to Cancun over a break several years ago and had an awesome time but that was most likely because of the booze.

There are so many places I want to go, but I am young and broke. I hope to do a lot of travelling before I die.

Chicago or Rome. Just depends on what you want to do

 

Most fun: Athens, Shanghai and San Francisco
Most enlightening: rural Louisiana. Introduced me to an America I would have never known that existed

One would have to define "fun". I'm not a Cancun party freak type.

But "fun" as in "I sure as hell would go back"?

Personal "fun", as in, I'll never forget that?

I had a wonderful time in and around Catania, Sicily. Not for the city itself. It's a great jumping off for all the great things on the island.

Like in a November that I accompanied some friends up Mt. Etna (not in eruption, obviously). Being at 10,000 feet on a snowcapped mountain with the clouds beneath you and the only thing above you the sun? I'll take that as a good vacation day.

 

Kabul, Afghanistan. Had a free 14 month vacation. Cant beat that!

 

But in all seriousness its probably San Juan.

 

Paris, France wins without a doubt for me. A close second, though, would be Salamanca, Spain. I've enjoyed most of the cities I've visited. I loved Sydney Australia a lot as well, and if I went back again, it might rise in the standings.
