I dont get it , why so much love for Golden State, I cant stand their team nor their coach. They are a streaky team, they get hot, watchout, but when they are not, they are really bad. Just want to get my sunday rant out.

They're hyped because they had a first round upset and pushed the Spurs in the playoffs last year, and because they can shoot well.

They are, however, not a great team. Wayyyyy overrated.

Yes, I so agree with you. I think people just love to watch golden state to well cause they are an exciting team "when" their shots are going in.

They're so called "superstar" steph curry, only averages three free throws a game. A true superstar averages 8-10 ft a game.

I don't care if you're the GOAT shooter, you live by the jumpshot, you die by the jumpshot.

Thompson is overrated too. He's a poor mans Kevin Martin.

Warriors are going to break up their team, maybe starting at the trade deadline. They realize this squad is not a contender. Iggy and Lee are paid way too much so Barnes and Thompson are most likely to be traded for something meaningful in return. They need to get another top 10-15 playmaker to team with Curry because they are too dependent on him for generating offense.

I read a blurb yesterday that said everyone but Curry and Bogut are on the block.

Steph Curry getting hot at Oracle is the most fun thing in basketball to watch. So that's a major reason they're hyped.

Also, if you don't think Steph is a superstar.... UGH

To be honest I was hyped with them too,but then I watched a couple GSW games and it was a dissapointment, they live by those jumpers and David Lee is the worst defender in this leauge if they are hot they can cause anybody trouble but that is Not possible in the Play-offs

Also losing Landry and Jack for Iggy was a mistake, but that is me

The answer is easy. Because everybody acknowledges the addition of Iguadola and thinks they'll be that much better.

Nobody wants to remember how the lost Jack and Landry. Both were a HUGE part of their success. Losing two elite bench players most times can't be supplemented by adding one good starter.

The Oracle and it's fans, scoring team, iggie, recent playoff success, and jackson. That's why and yes it's hype, they are pretenders not contenders.

We they get bounced in the playoffs first round or better yet don't even make the playoffs the hype will die down. Media is already starting to catch onto the overrated warriors their not a elite team and were just 1 game better than Houston last season. If we win two more games last yr. GSW gets bounced in 1st by okc and nobody is talking about them.

Let Iggy, Bogut and Lee all be healthy. They're an evolving team.

LOL, one of the bigger disappointments of the seasons. They have a gimmicky offense. They're the 8th seed now, and if this continues, they are a first round exit. I'm sorry but facing the Thunder in the first round is devastating. They actually regressed from last year.

    This

I said the exact same thing when they signed Iggy and let Jack/Landry walk. Those 2 bolted the team off the bench, they got on fire whenever the Spalsh Brothers weren't on their A game

Iggy is good, but losing those 2 in the process and adding Jermaine O'Neal and Tony Douglas (well, now Jordan Crawford/MarShon Brooks) didn't work out as good as they thought

You do know all those guys are pretty much past their prime. There is no evolution.

I don't hate the warriors like I do for the mavs and lakers. Mavs being a close rival whom I feel play their best against us for some reason. They have good games against us even the year they miss the playoffs. I hate the lakers because of their fans and their trash talk toward d12. **** didn't Shaq do the same to Orlando as d12 did to Los Angeles, and when Shaq bounced off Orlando didn't his team just reach the finals and lost and then he leaves them (seems like Shaq did a more db move there yet laker fans are crying.
As far as warriors go, I don't have hate for them, however I don't like how everyone rated them above the rockets before the season started, when clearly we have their numbers and our offseason acquisition was a bigger splash then theirs. Wasn't their primary target in the offseason d12 and iggy was their backup plan, yet they still ranked higher then us when we got d12.
