I personally really really love music. But with the amount of music I have downloaded on my computer and the personal collection I have it gets hard to find stuff sometimes that I haven't heard and is great music. Tupac, 50 Cent, Biggie, DMX, and Eminem!! Oh yeah, and don't forget Jin, up and coming asian rapper!!
Hey iron, check out 36 Crazyfists(If you haven't already). Some people actually comepare them to Glassjaw.
Yeah I like Glassjaw to. I have there cd with the pill organizer on the front, which I think is there older CD. How is there more recent CD. Is it just as good?
Grant Lee Buffalo -- A real Americana kinda rock and roll. Awesome stuff. Stone Temple Pilots -- More specifically, their later stuff (Tiny Music, #4 and Shangri). The Roots -- They own. Thats all that needs to be said.
I think this thread concept is pretty good but needs refining... Just suggesting every band you like doesn't mean that everyone should download every band you list. Maybe for future posters, they could describe the type of music the following bands fall under in order for people to think about downloading/purchasing said bands. If a guy likes good ol' country music, they probably won't want anything to do with NoFX. Just a suggestion... By the way, if you guys like new punk rock that's been popular as of late, I suggest you go after some Autopilot Off... Somewhat funny story... My buddy and I were at an Ataris/Sugarcult concert and we heard that there would be 2 bands preceding the headliners. Neither one of us had a clue who was performing. First band (Rufio) made it obvious who they were by constantly mentioning who they were throughout their set. Then came the next band...these dudes spent a good 20 minutes trying to get their banner up. The room was too small for the banner, but they still managed to get it up after struggling for about 10 more minutes. Anyway, we were restless and joking about how unimportant a banner really is to go behind a band. Anyway, the banner just said "Autopilot Off". My friend and I had no freaking clue who they were, anyone, first song they played I recognized. I said to my friend "Man, these guys sound just like Cooter!" Anyway, long story short, I recognized a couple more songs and was convinced that this was some bizarre Cooter cover band that goes by the name Autopilot Off...my friend and I went months after the fact joking about how funny it is that Cooter had a cover band, then one day, I thought I'd do a check up on Autopilot Off on the net, and sure enough, they used to be known as Cooter. Okay, story wasn't that funny, please move on...

Actually that was pretty funny! I've seen bands that put more thought into their banner or sign than their music. Very Spinal Tap-ish.
