Yup, not only does he get a ton of downloads...but for those that missed out, if he ever decides to re-release, there will be a lot more hype around the game and those that never did download it may be more inclined to give it a shot next time around.
Tried it, got somewhere in the 2300's and got bored and quit. My record in Flappy Bird was 23. Was pretty proud of it too until I read this thread.
I downloaded it after the news that he was going to take it down, mostly because I remembered there was a thread about it on the bbs. That was the stupidest game I've ever played. I know it's a whole genre of game and they've been making it since the old helicoptor game in the 80s at least. This one is the worst of such games I've seen. Why it has 10m+ downloads and 4 stars, I have no idea. It's a piece of crap. Why are you people playing this thing? I don't get it.
No I was really just asking what it the problem was supposed to have been, what he's claiming the problem was. Someone has since told me it's "dealing with the haters" elsewhere.
Yeah, Im just saying that there really isnt a problem, imo...it's just a b.s. excuse. Dealing with haters shouldnt be an issue when you're making 50k per day. Apparently he was pointing towards the haters. I mean, even Jesus Christ has haters, so I find it hard to believe that people leaving mean messages on the internet is the reason he is willing to forfeit 50k a day. So he's either a smart business man or the biggest pu$$y I have ever seen. And I have a hard time believing someone can actually be so weak.

I don't think he expected something like this to get so viral. I wouldn't either. It doesn't even look fun. I don't really understand the appeal of this game when it's been rehashed a million times. Sounds like he just wants the simple life. Like Biggie Smalls said, "mo money, mo problems."
Maybe I am giving him too much credit...but we're all clearly not smart enough to come up with such a simple game that could literally make us 50k every day. And if this guy really wants to be a smart businessman, he should re-release the game in 6-12 months time.
