Parsons acts like a leader. I wouldn't say his quotes are always good, especially since the media can always find new ways to put them together, but he is a heckuva player and cares deeply about the success of this team. If anything, I think we need more guys like him.

I expect Chandler to come out with "inflated tires" tonight and show that his last game was a statistical anomaly. :)

We've touched on this a few times. Does he really believe he's above reproach? Or is it possible that he's just not the sharpest tool in the shed and stuff just keeps slipping out? Can we look up whatever the NBA or Rockets use as a wonderlic?

Gee, that's coincidental timing right there.. Funny how he'll be healthy and able to play just a day before the trade deadline.

so could Asik+D-Mo for Okafor +pick be a possibility? not a rumor or anything, but in an espn article they mention Asik as being an alternative to Gasol as a target for the Suns. This trade would allow the Rockets to get out of Asik's last year and net us a draft pick. Insurance will pick up most of what is on Okafor's contract, but I think this might put us over Luxury tax which could be a deal breaker for Leslie

If they want Asik, why should D-Mo be included?

because Asik for Okafor doesn't work, and D-Mo has made it clear he wants out. It doesn't have to be D-Mo obviously, but it does have to be someone.

Why would you want Okafor at all? You are trading a better player + an asset for a worse player.

Unless that pick is a mid or better lotto pick, that is a horrible trade.

Lin is a bench player on any other playoff team anyway. Asik is a legit starting center and one of the top centers in the league.

McHale must really be itching to jerk Asik around again. Counting the days, man, counting the days...

It's just too bad this guy can't buy into a winning culture. If he'd just accept his role, he'd fill in the huge void on defense when Howard sits. We'll need this guys when playing teams with two bigs like Memphis, LAC or top dogs like OK and Miami with lethal wings/slashers.
