They should name it the Charlotte "Black"Panthers. I put highlight "black" because I bet the entire team will be black since the owner of B.E.T will own them. or either the Black Bass
I pictured the new team as the Charlotte Fury even before these names were announced. I don't know why. Out of the three, I like Charlotte Flight the best, though. It seems to be the most popular but it's all up to the owner in the end.
I totally agree, guys. I've always HATED the name. "Texans"... like someone wouldn't know where Houston is. Hell, it was the first word from the Moon. Completely lame. Great logo... lame name. I thinks Charlotte should go with the B-Bobs. It looks like they might do a whole lot worse. At least they're not thinking of the Cougars. A great university has that one already. And someday it'll have a great program again. (I hope I'm still alive to see it. ) MadMax, that name is not traditional... not for Houston. We all know we're Texans... heck, even people who live in Dallas are Texans. Folks from San Antonio are Texans. Guys and dolls from El Paso are Texans. Even, contrary to popular belief, the inhabitants of the Panhandle are Texans. (no, they're not all secretly infiltrators from Oklahoma and New Mexico) The eyes of Texas are upon even YOU!! (sorry... this offseason is hard to assimilate)
